This is my favourite pub near kings cross station. Great beers, lovely atmosphere. Can get very lively in the evenings, a quiet pint can easily become a full night out.

Great gem in London. Super casual pub during the day, lively bar with live music or a DJ during the day. Security are friendly, always nice to chat to them, as are the bar staff. They look after everyone. Definitely a safe place for solo women as well.
They'll cut you off when necessary, as any bar should. Overall, amazing experience here and I've met many lovely people. :)

Went for a gig, love the gig space upstairs. Absolutely teeny tiny toilet cubicles. Amazing pizza currently on offer! Great deal for pizza and a beer for £10 at certain times. Lovely selection of draft beers and spirits. Excellent pub music too.

The Lex is an amazing music venue. The sound quality has been consistently high every time I've visited, and the range of beers is great too. Only drawback is security can be a bit funny, but I'd say that's worth it overall. Haven't tried the music quiz but the guy seems extroverted enough!
