Absolutely loved the room ☺️. I got a junior suite, the room had enough space, bathtub with warm and cold water, the balcony was huge, very clean and slept well. The location is close to tourists area, restaurants, beach, Coco Bongo just a few blocks. 7 eleven right in front of the hotel and a pharmacy and OXXO  next to it as well. We didn’t get the chance to see the rooftop since we only stayed for 2  nights and didn’t have enough time since the next day we were going to Xe-Ha but next time we’ll stay here longer! The price is affordable and reasonable. Highly recommend to stay and perfect for couple ☺️.

Be playa used to be my second home in playa as I travel a lot to come here and stayed  here in every possible room. I have to say something have changed this stay will be the last (unless it stays so cheap to stay as the location is amazing for my needs) with it the service and room are absolutely outdated and basic.
We started in getting a two beds room instead of the one king we have specifically reserved via booking.com
Asked to change they wanted to charge 25usd more per a night (instead of absorbing their mistake)  and said maybe tomorrow… and that it’s optional - but it never happen to me before… at any hotel!!
I am about to leave and still waiting for the message from the reception about that. Jajja maybe quein we checkout they will offer the right room??

On top of that we had to ask for face towel and toilet paper lol

Doesn’t worth more that 50usd  a night and that’s the only reason I am ok with that
The elevation was in ‘maintenance’ the whole two days 🥲
The hall in the morning in between rooms was with food people ordered as room service but the leftovers were picked up hours later… imagine….

This hotel used to be fabulous  but at the moment seems like it’s ran with a very bad management they are still flaying on old reputation.
The only lovely thing really is the location and rooftop bar.

I must be stay some days in the area because of the hurricane berly. I made the reservation like 2 pm and I come to the hotel like 5 pm. In the whole area was no electricity. Also not in the hotel. Some hotels had an electric generator but this hotel not. So they didn’t know about my reservation. And also without electricity I was not able to stay in this hotel. The lady at the front desk told me, to cancel I must write via booking. 1 hour later I wrote the hotel in booking a message. So for me no problem because this was not the fault. I left the area and to get internet connection and I called some hotels to ask if the had electricity. I found one and a booked it also here in booking.
3 days later the hotel answered me that a must speak with the costumer service of booking, because they are charged the money.
I called them and the told me they will speak with the hotel. 1 day later I got an answer of the Costumer service of booking, that the hotel told them that they had electricity and all services worked normal and I have decided to go.
After this I wrote an other message to the hotel but I never got an answer.

Terrible hotel our room is bumping at 1145pm because of the roof top bar music being so loud. Save your money and go somewhere else! This place sucks!

The rooms are comfortable, and the location is amazing. Breakfast is great, but not self service, you basically get to order a dish from the breakfast menu. The roof top and pool is cosy and cute. They have Dj and party on roof top on Friday nights. We enjoyed our stay in Be Playa in general.
