First time. Beer selection was good. Service was fair. The waiters tried to be nice but didn’t seem like they were in the mood to serve. Felt very forced. Monday blues I guess?
Friends had beef burgers and were happy with it! Had a bite to taste and it was good. I don’t drink beer but had a sip and thought it had a nice flavour. Fried pickles were crunchy and nice with the sauce.
Unfortunately, food was disappointing for me. Was looking forward to the bone marrow poutine cause my friend highly recommended it. However, it smelled a bit off, and when I tasted it, it tasted spoiled. The marrow had turned completely liquid, so when I poked it with my fork, it just “disappeared”. Barely nothing in the bone, and the bits that were left tasted so off. Like the only fat present stuck to my tongue like goo and made me want to throw up. I kept trying to wipe my tongue on the napkin and the taste would not leave my mouth. I’m a huge bone marrow fan. I cook and have had it multiple times at other restaurants but this was not it. The waiter was kind enough to bring it back to the kitchen but they said it was fresh from the day before. They offered to remove it from my bill and charge it as a regular poutine. Did not touch the rest and tried to eat the poutine to change the taste in mouth. Went back home and I had bad indigestion 30min later. My bf ate the rest of the poutine at home and said it was fine, but 30min later after he finished, he also had bad indigestion.
Would suggest going there just for drinks.

Such great bar for both food and drinks. Everything on the menu is so well crafted and the selection of drinks is amazing with practically anything you could think of. The atmosphere of the bar is relaxing but can be a bit loud at peak dining hours.

I decided to stop by Bar Hop on Peter because I work in the area and wanted a little bevy after shift. Their rooftop patio was absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere was fun and lively.
I ended up taking a seat by the side of the bar and Kaitlin, Ray and Jordan were all very attentive and charming. They walked me through the wine, beer and food menu and helped me make the best possible choices. All in all I was super happy with my meal. I started off with a 9oz of their organic Cab Sav red which was delightful before moving onto their crowdpleaser hot dog with a side of the poutine. The hot dog was delightful and also ended up being huge which was a plus.
My favourite type of wine is an orange but unfortunately they are only sold by the bottle. Kaitlin and Jordan suggested I instead try their Revel Cider which is a cider with orange wine and dark plums. I had never tried anything like it previously and would come back for the impeccable and personable service and that cider alone!
I will definitely be coming back with more of my friends especially since I learned that wednesday has half priced bottles of wine!!!

We came to Bar Hop early on a Saturday afternoon so, most of the place was closed except for the rooftop patio. It was a good spot to catch up since it was not busy at all. There was some staff on duty but, they weren’t serving tables anyway. We had a couple of rounds of beers and, they were all OK.

Cool rooftop patio and nice selection of beers. The service was good (you order at the bar yourself) but I have to say the food was nothing special. I recommend it as a nice spot for a drink and snacks!

Cool atmosfär. Massor av ölval. Maten var god. Jag hade en klubbsandwich med pommes frites och smörgåsen var läcker. Pommes frites var bra men hade waaaay för mycket salt på dem. Tjänsten var utmärkt, jag gillade verkligen vår server.

Jag dödade lite tid på att vänta på några vänner och snubblar över den här baren, glad att jag gjorde det, jag gillade verkligen atmosfären och björnarna naturligtvis! personalen var mycket vänlig.

Detta var en perfekt plats för en avslappnad drink och lite snacks. Bra service, bra vibe. Högt rekommenderad!

Min mamma var i stan, jag ville ta henne någonstans avslappnad och nära. På enheten till lägenheten märkte hon BarHop och kommenterade sitt industriella chic utseende. "Varför inte där? "Frågade hon ljusögd och hoppfull. "Varför inte! "Jag sa med gnistan på en man som vet att hans middag betalas för. TACK MAMMA. Vi promenerade in och tog trappan till andra våningen matsalen. Vårt bord på 4 beställde följande, spenat kronärtskocksdopp, kryddiga tomatsåsmusslor, kryddig räkor linguini och en klassisk nötköttdunksmörgås med parmfries. Att vara avicionado som jag är, hade jag ansvaret för att prova alla diskar, mycket till de andra gästerna, men stora hundar måste äta. Dip wad trevligt, det var varmt och toppade med syltade paprikor som gav det en bra spark. Brödet brukade doppa var kryddat med maldon havsalt som dipen desperat behövde - 7/10. Musslorna var faktiskt dope, buljongen var varm och kryddig men hade denna umami från tomaten som förmodligen var rostad innan den blitzed i såsen, denna maträtt 9/10. Räkor linguini var ok, underseasoned men pasta var al dente AF som jag alltid uppskattar 8/10. Slutligen nötkött dopp. Brödet bröt ifrån varandra vid doppning i au jus vilket är något du inte vill se. Pepparrot Mayo var trevligt men förväntat. Nötköttet hade väldigt fin smak och tillagades mycket bra, lätt att masticate. Det enda felet, och det här är mitt misstag eftersom jag bad om dem, men parmfriesna var skrämmande. Jag skulle inte rekommendera dem, mycket torr med parm från en shaker som jag är ganska säker på har såg damm i det ändå 8/10. Slutligen kan det ha varit en upptagen natt men vi väntade vid bordet för en solid 5-7 minuter innan någon kom för att se om vattnet var önskat. När vi fick serveras servern var trevlig men all maten serverades i princip samtidigt som apps före elnätet skulle ha uppskattats.

Gick två gånger, första gången i baren på första våningen och andra gången på takterrassen. Båda tiderna fick en utmärkt öl hälld korrekt vilket gör en förändring från vissa ställen där de lämnar alltför stort huvud och mindre verklig öl. Fin utsikt också, även om det är lite kallt i vinden.

Gick ganska tidigt på lördag kväll. Platsen var packad men vi satt och serverade ganska snabbt. Maten var fantastisk och valet av öl på kran och flaskor är omfattande. Tjänsten var kul och uppmärksam. Tack för en bra kväll.

Stor öl lista på en sval plats withbplrwsant vibes, bra belysning och vänlig service. På varma nätter är takterrassen riktigt bra. Koldere dagar inuti har theirvcharm också. Maten är ok, men ölen är saken. Rekommenderas och rätt är mitten av Queen Street shopping.

Vi är inte från Toronto men bartendern fick oss att känna sig så välkomna och hon föreslog en bra drink för mig. Hon var super vänlig och du kan säga att hon visste hur man bartend, alla hennes drycker var på punkt. Stämningen var stor, kommer definitivt att komma tillbaka när jag är i stan.

Stannade här eftersom Craft Beer. De hade ett bra urval men jag hittade dem inte alltför hjälpsamma för att göra ett välgrundat urval. Platsen var trevlig och verkade ha många olika alternativ för sittplatser. Jag parkerade mig själv vid pallarna vid fönstren och såg några Toronto folk - mycket bättre än vad som helst på TV. Jag beställde musslor och de var fantastiska. Mitt enda "klagomål" var att jag hade tittat upp på nätet och såg att måndagar var musslatt. Men när jag höjde det till min server sa de att det bara var på deras King Street-plats. Jag såg inte den skillnaden på deras hemsida. . . och jag ska säga att det var vad som drog mig till deras plats. Jag tror att en liten kedja som denna borde ha samma erbjudanden över hela staden. Men det är bara jag. Jag skulle återvända men.

Ölmarkeringen är riktigt bra. Alla sorter för alla smaker. Andra icke-öldrycker är lite svårare att komma med så för dem som gillar ciders och vad som inte kan vara lite besviken. Uteplatsen är AMAZING. Maten är genomsnittlig. Det är pubmat, inget emot att blåsa.

Vi kom hit på en solig lördag eftermiddag förväntar oss en rolig bar men platsen var ganska grundläggande. Drycker var okej, maten var genomsnittlig. Tjänsten var under par. Våra servrar tog lång tid att delta i oss och såg ut som de undviker oss för en tid.

Den ursprungliga planen var att stanna här för drycker på väg till en show efter att ha middag på en annan restaurang men. . . väntetiden var bara för länge på den andra restaurangen så vi bestämde oss för att bara äta middag på denna plats. Vi blev inte besvikna. Höjdpunkter: Stor atmosfär Otroligt urval av öl (och andra drycker också) Bästa jalape o poppers någonsin - ett måste - försök Bra huvudrätt som var den särskilda - stekt kyckling smörgås. Jag hade min med en sallad - dressingen var härlig; min make hade hans med Björn fries som också var utsökt. Vi skulle definitivt äta här igen!

Vi anlände till gatan. Pattys dag runt 630. Värdinnan var vänlig nog att hålla ett bord för mig i 30 minuter medan jag väntade på mina fiender att sluta på en annan bar. Trots att lånmännen kom in och ut fortsatte hon fortfarande att hålla ett bord för oss. Det var en stillastående scen på övervåningen, men var passande för semestern. Vår servitris, Jamie var fantastisk. Hon var söt och rolig och var alltid där när vi behövde mat eller annan dryck. Hon är en bättre version av T Swift. Maten för det mesta var ganska bra. Jag hade veggie burger, som var trevlig och kryddig, även om det föll ifrån varandra. Min fru åt svamp risotto (som kan göras glutenfri). Vi har haft vår mat. Våra vänner hade dock vegan mac och ost och bryr sig inte om det så mycket. De hade ett par TV-apparater, inklusive en stor skärm som spelade march galenskap och sedan hockey. Alla tycktes ha en bra tid. Vi gjorde det

Stannade för att prova några olika öl här och det svika inte. Menyn är stor och kommer i ett bindemedel med stort antal brews. Vi har haft några. Endast hade en app (djupa stekt pickles), de var bra. Kul och mysig plats, vi satt på andra våningen. Öl var kallt och bra service. Visste inte riktigt resten av matmenyn. Detta är mer av en pub stil plats, kanske inte så familj - barn orienterade.

Cool atmosfär och bra hantverk av öl. Mat är exklusiv pub grub, verkligen haft benmärgen poutine. Takterrassen är en extra bonus.
