This place was awesome. We sat at the kitchen bar which is really fun and cool if you like cooking. The veal schnitzel was HUGE and very delicious, and the daily special was perfection. The chef was really nice and even chatted with us as he cooked. If we were staying another day in Stockholm we would eat here again. Do not miss this.

Amazing German cuisine restaurant! We order schnitzel and bratwurst and they were delicious. Unexpected good taste for the sausage! Prices were a bit expensive but better than other German places in Stockholm. I highly recommend it. The staff has good knowledge on their food and wines and is very kind.

The schnitzel was ok I would say there are still many other better options in Stockholm. The portion is too small for the price especially the Crème brûlée and sausage. I won’t go there again. Overpriced compare with other restaurants in Stockholm.

My wife suggested German food for pre-show dinner, and as the show was at Rival at Mariatorget, restaurant Liebling was very close. We booked a table and when we arrived at this rather small, bustling and cosy restaurant, we were shown to kitchen side places, a bar like setup, but instead of a bartender behind the counter, there were the two chefs in full swing. It turned out to be a really nice experience, as the two chefs were very friendly. They politely answered our curious questions (they hammer out about 70 schnitzels per day 😅) and recommended a good beer for our dish. We actually settled for two of those wienerschnitzels with sauerkraut, which proved to be a good choice. The prices might be a bit on the high side, but the whole experience was worth both time and money. Restaurant Liebling is now on our "restaurants to visit"-list!

Nice place with a solid selection of german Beer. Four on draft but a lot more on bottle. Currywurst was ok, a fancier version of the street food course. Staff is friendly and serviceminded.
