Fantastic Jiangnan cuisine.  The memorables were their signature braised pork belly, Dongpo pork, particularly the version that was skilfully sliced to a continuous strip and layered up like a pyramid shape.  The crispy chicken and soups were superb, too. Decent wine pairing, which included a couple of Chinese wines. Attentive and prompt service. Ambience was comfortable and spacious.

The restaurant is located at the back of the hotel, with entry via the restaurant main door or the hotel entrance. If coming from the hotel entrance follow the signs and walk around the hall ways. Set in a lovely Chinese garden the restaurant has a lot of potential to be a gastronomical destination, it’s unfortunately that some patrons are less sensitive to other diners and had their kids run around the main dining room screaming and shouting. Losing one star for this. In terms of the food, the dishes we ordered were indeed unique and special, not something you see regularly. Highly recommend the tower pork and the golden chicken! Superb!

The food is superb, the atmosphere is superb and the service is superb! If you come to Hangzhou, the food here is definitely worth tasting. Every dish here is superb and the details are good. I like their pork and bamboo shoots, and these two things are mixed together and delicious. I don't usually eat fat, but it's really great. The waiters are very friendly and courteous. Very thoughtful. Be sure to try it out.

The Jinsha Restaurant at the Four Seasons offers a highly refined and authentic dining experience featuring local and regional delicacies.  The staff were highly accommodating and professional, and perfectly fluent in English, which was a great perk.  We ordered a number of appetizers including the crab and uni dishes, as well as the local gobbie with authentic black bean sauce which was super savory.  It was all delicious and worth the investment.  The wine menu was also impressive and expansive.

I went there on a Christmas eve. I have to say it's a disappointment experience. Food is listed last if compare other Michelin restaurant I visited. When dish was presented, there was no one explain the food to you. You just look at the menu and find out yourself.  It's not what I expected service when I pay more than $300 (USD) per person.
