Took my dad there for a long weekend for his 60th. Had a fantastic time! Staff were kind enough to upgrade our room and everyone we spoke to was accommodating and pleasant. The facilities like gym and sauna were very good and clean. Decent selection for breakfast.

Situated in a good location and everything was within walking distance. I would recommend it and I would stay here again.

Wow, what a wonderful place! The staff was so sweet and helpful, our room was very comfortable with a gorgeous view of the nearby park, and the breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had! We were with a baby and felt really looked after by the sweet staff. The location was also incredible, central, walking distance from old town, museums, parks etc. Can’t wait to come back!

Never did I equate small with cozy until I stayed here. The bed was very comfortable, the room was cute, with a patio, and right in the middle of the city. I loved it!

Good location, pretty central. Polite staff.  My room had a smell to it which was unpleasant. We also found long tailed silverfish which we didn't wanna take home. We couldn't unpack when we got home and had to wash and freeze stuff to make sure we didn't bring it into the house. All in all, i wouldn't stay there again.

Staying frequently with Scandic, but will not book at Anglais again. Arrived to a dark room with an uncleaned bathroom and see-through curtains facing a fully lighted office building across the yard. A dirty and unwelcoming gym in the basement with gum and snus leftovers in the machines did not improve my impression.

Location is OK but if preferring Scandic there are definitively better and more central ones in Stockholm.
