"I recently stayed at Radisson Blu Riverside in Gothenburg and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. The amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. I highly recommend Radisson Blu. to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!" As a non English speaker I was able to communicate with staff who understood me, even at breakfast and at the cocktail bar. Overall pretty decent price to service ratio. The regular rooms are pretty generic as always, nothing special. Breakfast was nice with a decent degree of variety.

Only thing which I can not recommend at all is the spa. Feels more like a disco with loud music. The sauna is close to becoming moldy because of improper use.

Additionally on our visit we had a lot of young clientel which were very loud and not familiar with using a spa appropriately.

Nice clean room. Hotel in a convenient location on the Island. Good travel links ( free ferry until around 19:00 plus plenty of cheap buses) to visit centre of Gothenburg.

After reading some of the reviews I was feeling a bit apprehensive about our upcoming stay here. I shouldn’t have worried. Everything was smooth from check in to check out. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. While the location is slightly out of the main city, the ferry is nearby and a great option to quickly get into town. The bus stop for the airport coach is less than a 5 minute walk away which made airport transfers a breeze.

There is a fair bit of construction going on around but this didn’t disturb us at all and we wouldn’t have known had we not looked outside.
