It was an amazing experience. My driver Mel arrived early and was very sweet, she is the best! At the top we managed to avoid crowds because this tour company has its own little area to eat and watch sunrise , before heading to the crater rim to see the steam after a lot of people have went down already.

Came here not by trekking but by renting the jeep driven by locals. They’re such a great company and good staffs. They took great pictures for us and they also nice peoples. Our driver is such a nice person, he listened to our request and answered our questions. The view at mount batur is spectacular, thank goodness we got there minutes before sunrise. It was cold in the morning and view of the sunrise is just chefs kiss.

Wow wow wow. What an absolutely outstanding experience trekking Mt Batur for sunrise. This will forever be a core memory in my life and I cannot thank our beautiful driver Melta and our legendary guide Gede for looking after us from start to finish.
We got up to the summit for breakfast in 1hr 20m and got to watch the sun rise and beam across the horizon. The breakfast platter was amazing and the tea and coffee was perfect for warming up the insides, having this prepared for us made us felt like VIP at the top of the mountain!
We were so lucky to get good weather as prior to our visit it had been rainy and cloudy. We feel so lucky to have picked such a great company to do this tour with and we would recommend it to anyone! 😁

I DID IT!! Hiking up Mount Batur to see the sunrise, standing at the summit of 1,717m high~ 🌄🙂‍↔️Was holding on to my guide’s hand for dear life whilst scrambling in the dark amongst the steep ascent of deeeeep sand, she was literally my live walking stick  throughout, lucky me🤪.  An experience I will always hold close to my heart! 🥰🫶

Also because once is always never enough for me - I also rode the jeep, motorbike, and car up to view the sunrise on multiple occassions too! 🤪🙂‍↔️

Really loveee the feeling of watching the sunrise overlooking these majestic mountains (Mount Agung and Abang) - seeing the sky slowly changing colors, with the view of the clouds and lake below me. Truly mesmerising and beautiful! ☁️❤️
