We had a lovely stay at hotel sails! The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was clean, it was great to have a washing machine and a drier. The location was great and close to the train station. There was a 7/11 nearby which was handy. The staff were very helpful in filling out forms for our luggage delivery and informing us when the luggage was picked up. Would definitely stay here again!

I'll start with the reason for the mediocre rating. I picked this place based on the room having a balcony. It has a balcony, but there is no furniture, and smoking is not allowed. I just checked in, and that put a damper on my enthusiasm right away. The location is not the most central.
Other than the aforementioned qualms, the place is very clean and seems like a good place for families. The staff were all quite pleasant. For an early breakfast, there's a family-run bakery that's a ~10 walk simply named "Bakery" on Maps.

The very rude staff I ever seen in my life in japan,late check out with staff just woke up from sleep act like a big boss.
This Hotel not recommended for all tourist better find another Hotel,if you guys don’t want have the same experience like me.

I will never forgot this experience in my life…!!

The service attitude is excellent, and communication in English is completely seamless! I recommend taking a taxi directly from Ueno Station to the hotel, as it will be much easier for transporting luggage. The front desk can also assist with calling a taxi, but now, even without a Japanese phone number, you can easily use an app to call a taxi, which is very convenient.

There are a McDonald's, supermarket, 7-11, and FamilyMart near the hotel, making it very convenient for daily needs. At the nearby (三ノ輪) Minowa Station, there is an elevator, so you can easily carry groceries back to the hotel and cook. From the hotel, you can see the Tokyo Skytree, and it’s even clearer when you step out of the alley.

It was a bit of a lucky accident that I booked this apartment-style hotel, but I am extremely satisfied! It’s close to the station, and the location is very convenient. Highly recommend!

Nice clean and big room with dining area and laundry area. Location is a bit off however neighbourhood is quiet and clean. 10 mins walk to subway
