My second visit and I LOVE this place. It is walking distance from Louisiana and I higly recommend having a lunch here if you are visiting. The inside of the restaurant is traditional with a lot of character. They also have an outside terrace. The food is traditional danish in a good way - you need to try their smørebrods and the wiener schitzel! Portions are big. Prices are moderate for what you get.

The menu isn't hugely extensive but does offer the classics. No mention of anything vegetarian/vegan, but when we asked the chef prepared a delicious bean patty with cooked and pickled vegetables and herb sauce. Plentiful and delicious!

We were seated without a reservation, the vibe was so charming and cute. An amazing place.

Just 5min outside the Louisiana museum, this is such a lovely restaurant that it would be a shame for you to miss it. Sure you can have a bite at the museum, and enjoy the view, but this place is so much better.
The menu offers you typical danish food, from open sandwich to warm meals. The quality is excellent and the service is great.
You can feel that it's a local restaurant,  as you are surrounded by locals.
A quick note on the warm meals: the portions are sizeable, you won't go hungry at all!

Thank you for great lunch. We tried traditional meals, with fish and roasted beef. The meals from kids menu were big, and probablt enough for adult. The staff was friendly and restaurant is very old!! It was opened 1740!! Goodluck for more 300 years.
