The meat is top quality. We were recommended the venison which turned out exquisite when pan fried to medium well with their butter. The staff takes pride when handling the produce and skillfully trimmed the meat without rush. They are friendly and provide good tips on cooking the meat for best results. The boutique, just a turn off E14 has an interesting array of products. There is a Covid restriction that allows one customer in the shop each turn. Good hygiene is observed and plastic panels are used. On Fridays at noon during Summer, there is a grilled sausage station with alfresco seating. Prices are higher for the products and maybe a wait in the queue. However, you get great quality and service plus the wholesome, fresh taste is hard to find these days.

John is the perfect butcher: generous with his advice and passionate about his products, he will take the time to tell you about everything he stocks and will offer samples aplenty.

We left with lovely cured meats, saucissons (including the unmissable elk one!) and cheeses which John took the time to pack carefully and vacuum seal. All of it survived the trip to Switzerland wonderfully well, and we’ve been feasting on it since our return a few days ago.

Big thanks to John, the first member of the Fäviken family whom we met and who set the stage for a lovely 24h in the region.

Great selection of aged and cured meat, sausages and other locally produced and imported food. The smoked ham was fantastic and the isterband was perfect. I will definitely swing by the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Excellent butcher! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the sausages and cheeses are delicious and it is a really cute shop. We went multiple times during our 10 day trip in Åre 😂

Pristine charcuterie shop. Sister of Faviken so you know it's going to be good.
Also sells bread/cheese and some other condiments that go great with charcuterie.
Everything is sparkling clean, and gives off the impression that they know what's up. Staff are friendly too and offered us samples. We had to refuse because we just had breakfast at Faviken.
There are also windows that you can see inside to their production areas which are also spick and span.
Highly recommend if you're in the area. Would travel for this.
