I recently ate at Den Gamle och Havet, drawn in by the good reviews. I chose seafood and spaghetti. The food was okay, but not amazing as I expected. The service was alright, nothing special. The place was clean and busy. Overall, it was an okay dining experience, but not as great as the reviews made it seem.

Great food and professional service (always a pleasure) we sat outside on a balmy night but blankets and overhead heaters were at the ready.
The Artichoke entree and the Seafood spaghetti were standouts. The portions were large. I had the Oxtail Ragu which was great and could feed two easily, so share! Many thanks for a lovely evening.

The best Italian restaurant when it comes to flavor! They have very good cocktails. Also, the service was also perfect! Fast, efficient, a little friendly too! Maybe the only thing I would change is how loud it can get once the place is fully packed. But nevertheless, the best italian food!

Strongly recommend seafood pasta and lamb (don’t remember the name). Raw beef is also good. Nice and cozy atmosphere.
