During my recent trip to Cape Town with friends, we had the chance to experience the Cape Wheel, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable. The location of the Cape Wheel is perfect, right at the V&A Waterfront, offering a stunning view of both the city and the ocean.

The ride itself is smooth and relaxing, with large, comfortable cabins that offer panoramic views of the city, Table Mountain, Robben Island, and the surrounding coastline. We all loved the 360-degree views and the opportunity to snap some fantastic photos. It’s a perfect activity whether you're visiting Cape Town for the first time or you're a local looking to rediscover the beauty of the city.

The staff was friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We went during the late afternoon, and as the sun set, the city began to light up, which made the view even more spectacular. The Cape Wheel is a must-do for anyone visiting Cape Town, offering an amazing vantage point of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The wheel is seafront placed at waterfront and offering 10 min of great view experience, you will be able to see the area from above.
The staff are very friendly and they will help you with everything.
It is a very nice experience 😊 and highly recommended 👌

A ferris wheel with beautiful views of the ocean on one side and the mountain behind the city.  There always seems to be a small queue but the wait wasn’t too long.  After you get on, you get 4 revolutions before you have to get out again.  Sunset seems to be a popular time

We took the two day hope on hope off city tour bus ticket that includes visiting the wheel. You get a wide view of the city including the table mountain, the sea and the V & A waterfront. It's very clean, very organised and you go about 4 rounds before you get off. You can take a picture before you go on that you can pay for when you get off if you want. 8/10 just because there are other sports with amazing views of the city. There is a wait because it was holiday season.

We loved the experience, from the ticket buying, the four rotations and the view. Perfect. A bucket list item for us. We enjoyed our time in the gondola.
