I visited this restaurant with my friend and had a great experience. The atmosphere here is very nice and the seating is outside, but covered in case there is rain.
I ordered oysters for the appetizer. I’m always careful when ordering these since it’s important that they’re fresh and prepped properly and in this case they were excellent and had a nice bounce back when touched. They are served raw with some pepper sauce, lime, chili, fried onions, and herbs on the side that can be added to the top. The flavor of all of this combined works very well.
I also tried the rice wine which was very interesting and fun to try. The curry from the photo was also very good.
I came back the second day for more oysters since I enjoyed them so much.

Fine dining at PINAKPOU Restaurant at very reasonable prices. Even eatting out alone I was made to feel welcome and comfortable  by all the staff. I choose to try this place due to the fancy reviews and the menu looks great. I had the beef lol lak which I believe is Cambodias national dish. This was my first time trying it and I'm guessing that this isn't the same as local people would normally make it but that's me just taking a guess. The whole meal was extremely tasty. The rice came separately and a small bowl of very nice dressing that had a sweet, sour and pepper flavour that wasn't to over powering. I was going to have a night off from drinking alcohol but I found myself wanting to have a glass of red wine to complete the meal and I'm glad I did the red Italian wine was a prefect match. I will be back when I have a date to take next time as I really wanted to try the set meal for 2 people. I will be back for sure a hidden gem worth the search.

Our local guide brought us to this charming place with the most delicious of local flavours.
I totally feel the passion of the chef and his partner, both Mengly & Votey. We had the Cambodia food journey and were introduced to a great story telling, respect the values on provenance and the pomelo salad was divine.
A wonderful evening indeed. Yummy!

Cute little spot in central Siem Reap. The staff's recommendations were spot on and everything was great (the crab noodles were a bit salty for my taste though). The one con was probably the smoking wok in the middle of the dining room (thinking it's to repel bugs?) which made it smell like burnt ashes the entire time.

This restaurant is definitely worth a try! It's obvious that the owner runs it with care! It's the best restaurant I've eaten at in the past few days! This set meal looks ordinary, but the taste of each dish will subvert your view of the taste! Highly recommended!
