One has to be very tactical in the timing of dining at Siji Minfu, Beijing as the waiting queue for peak lunch or dinner hours can be as long as two (2) hours wait. We waited for a shorter period as we decided to go for a late lunch at 3pm.

Their menu is extensive, everything sounds so delicious. In the end, we opted for their pan-fried lamp chop served underneath a bed of rosemary herbs. Plus points already for presentation. The lamb is very flavorful and tender. Another unique dish that we enjoyed very much was the fennel pancake. Hot and crispy, not oily at oil. Absolutely stuffed and satisfied from all of these yummy goodness.

Siji Minfu probably has the best Peking duck in Beijing! I’ve tried several places, and this one stands out as the best by far. That said, I recommend avoiding peak lunch and dinner hours, as the lines can be quite long.
Once inside, the restaurant feels spacious, clean, and well-organized. Everything runs smoothly, adding to the dining experience. The Peking duck was beautifully presented, and the taste was absolutely phenomenal. The crispy skin and tender meat, wrapped in thin rice wrappers, were a perfect combination.

The lamb chops were another highlight—exceptionally tender and packed with flavor.

Overall, Siji Minfu is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to experience exceptional Peking duck and more. Highly recommend!

The one we went to was on Donganmen Ave, but couldn’t find the Google map location for that.

Anyway. We had 3 Peking ducks in Beijing and my family were unanimous that this was the best.

No reservations. So 2 hours wait for a table, but they do serve drinks and snacks to guest waiting. Kids meals to kids so that they can eat first while waiting.

While waiting you can count how many ducks are prepared every 10 minutes.

Very delicious and popular Parking Duck restaurant. Their duck is crispy and succulent with a variety of veggies and condiments. Their salads and other side dishes are excellent. Very highly recommended.
