Long queue, but they were systematic. Once you were provided a number, you just need to wait for it. We ate at 5:30pm and waited only 15 minutes.

The pigeon was delicious, very juicy. It was cooked well, and not dry. The pork ribs were delicious, too. Portion a bit small, though. Truffle rice and the soup rice were OK.

Services were good. Staff were polite and attentive. The restaurant had a policy that made your bill free if they couldn't serve your foods in around 30 minutes.

During my visit to Guangzhou, I stopped by Da Ge Fan on Beijing Road, a local restaurant known for its pigeon dishes. The pigeons lived up to their reputation—crispy skin on the outside, tender meat on the inside, and no unpleasant odor.

The spare rib pork was also impressive, tender and bursting with flavour. All the vegetable dishes were sweet, juicy, and perfectly cooked.

However, the char siu pork was a bit disappointing. It was mostly fat, with very little meat, and although the flavour was good, it was far too oily for our taste.

Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting if you’re on Beijing Road and looking to try some delicious local cuisine!

Not a fan of pigeons but this is exceptional!

I love this place so much that I came 2 times in 1 month!

Surprisingly good food especially the signature roasted pigeon which was juicy and tender. Services were all very attentive and friendly.  Love it.

Just opposite the big Buddha.
Long qué. Inform how many pax to the staff at entrance.
A que no is given. Dining is upstairs. No lift only staircase. QR code to order. Staff will come with a glass timer repeat your order and explain a free meal if still not served after the sand fully falls into the bottom. Food not to your liking can change. Service top notch. A must order is the signature BBQ pigeon. Hot and crispy skin. Wear the glove to eat. Claypot pigeon meat rice. Claypot pork ribs with lots of onion, garlic and ginger. Melt in the mouth char siew. Last we have the stir fry goji vegetables. All 5 stars dishes. As each dish is served the waiter explains what is inside. As for the claypot rice, they offer to scrape the bottom crusted rice from the claypot if you want. I strongly recommend eating at least one time. Worth the waiting.
The place is ordering and clean and the customer comes first.
