Was completely blown away the minute we stepped in. I didn’t even realized this was a Michelin star restaurant but now I can see why. The service is top notch and faultless. Servers were friendly, attentive to the T and knowledgeable. Each dish was cooked and presented in a faultless manner. This is certainly a memorable dining experience which I will remmeber for years to come.

The ambiance and the servers are attentive and very kind and most important very professional. The food is classic Italian. You know what you get and the quality is very high and delicioussssss. Meat was small but very tender and juicy. You can order ala carte which I really recommended this place as order what ever you want and you able to eat. From one course to endlessly. When one day I’ll be back definitely will be back. Nice experience and memorable evening I had. Thanks for everything.

Cant believe it’s my first time here! I went to Octavium before and was just NOT impressed with their pasta, so thought there’s no need to visit 8 1/2.

Perhaps it just so happened to be white truffle season now…but the truffle pasta was out of the world! Honestly the best I’ve ever had!! We ordered from their a la carte menu and portion was quite generous!

Steak was good too! (Even when we asked for medium well 🤣)

Surprisingly, didn’t love their signature red shrimp pasta.

Would love to try their full menu next time!

Went here for a birthday dinner with my husband. I am very thankful to staff as upon arrival I realised my booking didn't go through but they still got me a table in the bar area. (I blame my poor English).

The food is impeccable. I would actually recommend this place if you have in fact tried a lot of Italian food, as I think you can truly appreciate the comparison. Every dish we ordered was impeccable in flavor, technique, smell and texture but - and I think this is critical for a Michelin restaurant - the dishes weren't "overdone" or over presented. Extensive wine list and excellent cocktails.

I will only question the fact that every appetizer  inexplicably comes with caviar? I am not sure it's always an improvement for every shellfish/fish dish.

One of the best restaurants in the world. We make it a point to dine here whenever we are in Hong Kong. Last night's dinner was another memorable occasion. Each dish was well executed. I particularly enjoyed the lobster and the lamb; and the truffle smelt particularly fragrant. The fig tart for dessert wasn't what we had expected: it was better.
