The roast goose here is solid and delicious. Glistening crispy skin on the outside and juicy meat inside. It’s not good to the point where I would dream about it and crave it but good enough that it’s very delicious to eat.
All their others dishes we tried were also very good and done well which included the sweet and sour pork, deep fried squid, bitter melon and pork, jellyfish, stewed tofu and vermicelli, silken tofu, duck wings, and deep fried silverfish. It is essentially a very reliable restaurant for classic Hong Kong style dishes.

Rather than trying to squeeze in the roast goose shops in Mongkok, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting. Goose was well cooked, crispy skin. I really recommend the aged pork vegetables if you get a chance to try.

Located in the new territory of Hong Kong

This institution is well known for their signature roast goose.

There is a private parking lot that they will validate with your meal purchase.

The staff is very rushed with the volume of customers to the degree of being rude.  The staff is very gossipy and will talk of customers that they feel not understand in the area.  They will also rush you out once you put down your chopsticks to get the next round of customers in... definitely not a relaxing environment for a family meal or date night.

The area has the nostalgic feel as there has been very little renovations to update the feel.  The seating is spacious but does fill up quickly with the volumes of tourists looking to sample their goods.

We ordered a few dishes but the main star - Roast goose fell flat on its face.  The goose was DRY and very tough (read - chewy).  There was very little taste even with the generous duck Au jus on the plate.  For all the hype, I am not really sure what I was supposed to ooh and ahh about... I will give them credit of crispy skin... but I am not here for Peking duck.

Pack your explanations away when visiting this famed establishment to save the eventual disappointment of food and rudeness of the staff.

It had been a while since I last hit up a classic Hong Kong-style Cantonese restaurant, and the flavors were truly exceptional. The roast goose was expertly grilled and well-seasoned, though I found the meat a bit older than I expected, which made some parts less tender than I'd hoped. If you’re feeling adventurous, you should definitely try their goose intestines; they’re super well-marinated and go perfectly with a refreshing glass of ice-cold beer.

A highlight of the evening was the stir-fried grouper with XO sauce—absolutely delightful and really fresh. The salt and pepper squid quickly became a hit with the kids, adding a crispy, savory touch to our meal. Each bite was a delicious reminder of why I love this cuisine!

This is really "it's finger licking good". The goose expertly grill and well seasoned. The atmosphere reminds me of the old Hong Kong 80-90s since I was so young.
