We normally have rules about going back to the same restaurant twice, but it’s been 7 years since we were in ubud, and back in December 2017 this place was one of our best experiences in Bali, so we decided it was time to head back.

It warms my heart to see that not only did these guys survive covid, but that they are absolutely smashing it and it’s just as good as we remember.

The service - so friendly and welcoming and you can really see that the people who work here really care about what they do.

The drinks - delicious. We went at lunch time and their non alcoholic options haven’t skipped on the innovation and flair offered in the rest of the menu. Coconut matcha hello 🤤

The ambience - beautiful with well considered touches everywhere. Clean, stylish, Balinese and careful eco considerations throughout. (Compostable straws, washable napkins, clean flannels in the bathroom etc.)

And most importantly the food, which was delish, with each dish being elevated somehow by use of a condiment or particular seasoning. The betel ceviche for example has a lovely caviar on top, the pork Bao were served with spicy mayo, the duck rolls with hoisin. The summer rolls with mango were lovely and fresh and I probably could have eaten 3 plates of those chicken wings!! So good. But we’ll break that rule another time!! Thanks guys, we loved it!!

I make sure to visit every time I’m in Ubud. The food is amazing, drinks are top tier with so much knowledge behind them. Service is my favourite. You can trust them to take great care of you and you will have the best time!

What a gem. This smaller bar and restaurant is a  delight and brought us back multiple times.  Craft cocktails and elevated local food make this a delight for the foodie in me.

The stay is best we have had in Bali so far, the crispy pork belly is rich and delicious.  The duck curry is fantastic and a bit spicy. The beef rendang is aromatic and fall apart delicious as you would expect.

Go have a drink, eat some delicious food and enjoy. Sitting at the bar is fun if you are into cocktails.

Notes: the summer roll and crispy lemongrass  chicken are good but outshone by other menu items.

Absolutely delicious! Best meal in Ubud we had. Super interesting menu including lots of local ingredients that I hadn’t seen anywhere.

Staff fantastic with toddler too and high chair actually fitted under the table so toddler could join in fully.

A very cozy spot with a beautiful, full-length bar. I enjoyed two cocktails during happy hour, and they were absolutely delicious. I opted for two starters and a main course, and I was more than satisfied—honestly, I couldn’t finish it all. I even ordered a few extra dishes for takeaway. The staff was incredibly friendly, and everything went smoothly. It’s definitely a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of Ubud for a while.
