Such a cute place. Very cosy with couches upstairs and bar tables downstairs. Staff are very friendly.  Possibly the best fish & chips I have had. Just a small portion but lightly battered. Excellent sauce. Lots of choices for beer and sake, mostly locally made.

Super fun brewery with the best sake flights and local beers. Card games were available along with the best snacks to eat while drinking. You can even order meals.

The owners were friendly and I wish we could come back with a larger group of friends!

Made a reservation for 7pm but came a little earlier and did not have to wait long for a seat. It is popular though so a reservation is recommended. Service is fantastic. There's a huge variety of locally brewed beer to try, and a few sake tasting sets. Reasonably priced. Great izakaya snacks to go along with your food too - the gyoza and okonomiyaki were good 😊

This is a great place to stop in for drinks and food while you are in Kyoto. They have a large selection of Saki and Beer, and very reasonable prices. The staff is also super friendly which contributes to the chill vibe. We didn’t order food, but the food being served around us looked great! Overall a good spot to check out while you are exploring.

This is such a great spot to hang out at night in Gion! The gyoza and okonomiyaki are absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The drinks menu is also impressive; I especially enjoyed their drinks selection.

The staff here are amazing! Kuma, Macks, and Sanjay are not only friendly but also hilarious to chat with. They really add to the fun and cozy atmosphere of the place. Whether you’re here for a quick bite or a long night of drinks, this izakaya won’t disappoint. Highly recommend!
