Nice cozy cafe in Arashiyama, a place we enjoyed brunch and coffee. with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The pancakes were absolutely delicious. We tried the chocolate banana pancake and also the seasonal pancake with pumpkin, pumpkin ice-cream and maple syrup - which were both very tasty. The inside of the store used to a public bath which makes it all more interesting. It  also has a small shop as well where you can buy different things like tea, soaps, cookies etc.
Highly recommended.

I found this restaurant when I visited Arashiyama. The decor was very relaxing, and the food really surprised me. The flavors seemed simple at first, but it was so delicious. I especially loved the tofu spaghetti, which I understand is likely a local dish from Saga. I would definitely go back if I have the chance to visit Arashiyama again.

The best carbonara i’ve ever had for a reasonable price. I loved the interior of the café too. I was a little confused by the hot chocolate being in a soup bowl but it was still very tasty.

I think it’s a good cafe and place for lunch for the price.
They are a bit understaffed, so it kinda explains the complaints about the service.

Overall worth a visit if you want a quick lunch.

The tofu and corn pasta were both really good. I’d recommend the tofu for those wanting a creamier pasta, and the corn for a more refreshing flavor.
