This is a benchmark of how a good ramen should taste. The food was good, but the queue was terrible. Prepare to wait for one hour late at night. It was so long that I had to go there for breakfast to satisfy my cravings.

Fun experience, you order via vendo machine, sit alone at an empty booth and someone will open the window in front of you to serve your ramen. You cant stay too long since a lot of people in queue arw waiting for you to finish. Patience is a must since the queue is always long!

This ramen spot certainly lives up to its reputation (6800+ reviews and counting!). The wildly popular Ichiran Ramen warns you that at its busiest time, the wait in line just to have a seat in its single booth is 60-70 minutes.

And it was worth it! The broth is light, but savory and salty without going overboard. The medium spicy was good but I'll go one or two step up, as well as one more beyond the medium garlic.

I'm glad I got the firm noodle as recommended by a few, and I'll try one softer next time.

The tonkotsu slices are lean and tasty. The whole dish just works so well together.

And the experience of receiving your food through the window behind a bamboo curtain is unique and unforgettable. It really adds to the atmosphere!

Love this place and I'll wait another hour for another serving!

The wait was very hot and long BUT I do think it’s worth it if you’ve never been. The ramen booths are so cool. You get a direct water line. And you don’t have to talk to anyone. Also the food is very cheap and delicious.
