This hotel is situated in an excellent location. Within a 10-minute walk there’s an abundance of shopping, endless dining options and JR Osaka Station. The room size was average with basic, contemporary decor, but clean & comfortable. Front desk staff were professional and courteous. A special mention to Koga, who was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to assist us - sincerest thanks! The breakfast offerings were impressive & tasty - there was something to suit every taste. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel and look forward to returning.

Never book this hotel if you have kids, the staff is not thoughtful especially the Japanese older lady.  We booked two nights and we checked in late due to coming from Kyoto.  We have two little kids with 5 & 2 yrs old, the room type I booked was NON-SMOKING room.   They still assigned us at the "smoking area" floor.  While only an hour after we checked in I went down to inform them the cigarette smell is heavy in the hallway and the odor still leaks into the room.  That's the time they said to offer change room to NON-SMOKING area floor.   I'm so pissed because the kids fell asleep already and why would they not assigned us to the NON-SMOKING area floor upon check in!!? Later I realized the whole smoking area floor is full of Chinese guests, that to me is already discrimination.  I WILL NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN.  Despite the location but at this price there are many other better options to book.

The most ridiculous thing is that lady told me we can change room in the morning, but the check out time is 11am, and we need to check in again at 3pm.   I'm completely mind blown by her especially we booked consecutive two nights.   There's nothing good I can say about this hotel other than location.

Hotel is located very close to JR Osaka station. This is a quieter location as opposed to the busy Umeda/JR Osaka station.
It is about 5 - 10 minutes walk if you are arriving from Kansai International Airport via the Haruka express train. There is an underground connection from Umekita Underground exit to Grand Front Osaka South. Subsequently, use the elevator to 2F and walk along the covered pedestrian walkway towards Grand Front Osaka North.
The hotel is located just across the road from Grand Front Osaka North.
There is a plethora of shopping malls and food outlets within a 10 minute walking radius.
Rooms are compact but adequate to open 2 medium to large suitcases.
Bed is comfortable.
An extensive range of quality skincare by DHC is provided at the reception.
Would be great if bath salts are also provided.
Appreciated the daily room cleaning.
Reception staff were polite and professional.
Hotel breakfast buffet had a good variety of Japanese and western options but tastes mediocre. Not worth the 2200 yen.
There is a cafe on the ground floor, Drip X which offers fuss free breakfast sets at an affordable price.
I would stay here again due to the convenience of the location.

The location and service in the hotel are great, especially considering the affordable price. I would just say that the pillows and bed aren't very comfortable. The pillows are very small and hard, and the bed is quite hard too. It's on us that we never asked if they have other choice of pillows, but their standard ones we found to be not the best. So if you stay here, I'd reccomend asking for bigger fluffier pillows! Also, the room we had was VERY hot, and adjusting the thermostat didn't do much to help cool it down. Otherwise, we had a great time there, it's a convenient area to stay in Osaka.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vischio Osaka. The room was spacious (which was handy when packing our 3 large suitcases) and modern. The location was great, very easy to get to from the Osaka JR station,  right opposite a shopping mall and a few minutes walk from the Airport Limousine bus stop.
