We travelled a fair way in Tokyo to reach Glitch which had been recommended to us by family in Australia - and it did not disappoint! We joined the queue out the door, and waited for our turn to come. By the time we were at the top of the queue we had observed the team at work and how they interacted with one another and their customers - like a well-oiled machine. Each customer received a highly attentive introduction to the various coffees available, along with staff recommendations. I chose a pour over with a delicious fruity tone to it and my husband had a latte. We both enjoyed our coffees and had fun watching the sheer ‘theatre’ of the coffees being made. It’s a very small shop (hence the queue) and in one corner coffee was being roasted - another enjoyable experience for us. Having travelled a bit, we would have really appreciated something to eat with our coffee - which was our only disappointment. We chatted to the roaster while he worked, asking for his recommendation of beans to purchase and were quickly joined by another team member who had realised our intention and who was able to knowledgeably recommend some options. Don’t expect run-of-the-mill coffee, do expect above average prices - but definitely a visit to savour and enjoy. Great work Glitch team!

I had a really awesome experience here! We entered, and the staff greeted us and directed us towards an array of their single origin coffees. We were asked how we liked our coffee, and invited to smell the different beans and see which notes we liked and what suited our tastes. I ordered an iced latte and it was genuinely perfect. No joke, the best coffee I have ever had!
The setting was cool, the staff were friendly and trendy, and they were playing some great music on vinyl. I would recommend to anyone who likes coffee and finds themself in reach!

I’ve never experienced a coffee-tasting-flight before, but the experience was a lot of fun. The baristas guided us through the various bean offerings and we picked 3 different profiles. It was a lot more expensive than we thought and the wait was a little longer than we expected as well, but in the end it was worth it. Most flavorful coffee we’ve ever had. The highlight came at the end when we got flat whites to go and they were honestly incredible. Far exceeded our expectations.

Long queues and we gave up on our two attempts. Fortunately, on our third attempt, there were just three couples in the queue.

Personalised service - to walk you through the coffee style options and the extensive menu of beans. There are bean samples for smelling to help with a decision. The staff are conversant in English.

We had two styles of coffee - a cold latte (like a “dirty”) and a pour over, with recommended beans.

They were both excellent! The subtleties of the bean varieties and light roast really came through. Thoroughly enjoyable.

A bit on the pricey side, but this is quite an experience and in my opinion, worth the queue and the price.

If you really like coffee. You will love this place. Line builds about 830 for a 9am opening. It's small so you enter and order one at a time. The employees really enjoy coffee and take their time helping you choose the best options for you. Great atmosphere and super friendly and welcoming.

I failed and didn't look up the reviews before hand. Glitch was recommended by a friend. Arrived a little after 10 am and the wait was long and a hour. I have never waited in line that long for coffee. Go before they open, preferably 30 minutes prior. This is an experience, they have a large assortment of beans to choose from and they'll ask if you want latte or drip. You can choose the beans for your drink and they'll carefully craft. The customer service was nice. Small and cozy little shop. Prices are steep. One latte and drip were about $39. But danngggg the quality is out of this world. I'm not even a coffee drinker and this was the best coffee I've tasted period. The drinks are tiny and pure. No bitterness at all.

While I personally enjoyed my experience here, I personally would only come once. It's definitely overpriced but it's actually really interesting and the staff are all very friendly. My Brother actually tried it before and has the same feeling as me about it. It's just a little too expensive but I actually liked it. I love the vibes of the coffee shop and how they take their time to explain all the details for each coffee beans. You also get to smell all of it from most expensive to cheapest. I just went to the middle ground and they would ask you how you would like the coffee, and I just went with what they recommended for the beans that I picked.

Incredible! My friend told me to pick up some beans for their coffee shop in Toronto so they can start a coffee club so I obliged. The staff look like high end bartenders, the space is small but this roastery is known for their quality and unique takes. I got one that said Pina Colada, they used some lacto-ferment process with the beans. One of the things I like about this place is that you can smell all the beans and they all smell so unique and completely different from each other. For 150g of beans it cost around 3600 yen+ , the display is in glass jars but they can vaccum seal it for you. They're also known for their Pour overs 2000 yen is a bit steep for a pour over but you're trying one of the best. Coffee lovers must save and make a pilgrimage here. They typically do light to medium roast, so don't come here if you want dark roast.

This place was worth the wait. The whole process from ordering to taking the first sip was wonderful. I loved being able to pick out of the variety of beans. I chose the iced latte option. The coffee was so smooth and tasted delicious. I liked the vibe of inside the cafe too. It was a little busy so my friends and I left once we had our coffee. We all enjoyed the flavors we chose. I'd go back again!

Glitch is one of the best coffee roasters I've been to - incredible selection of different types of beans that were roasted with different styles and innovative techniques, like the whiskey barrel aged beans, which was the one I had. The coffee is also provided in great cups and vessels depending on what you order (cold or hot). The baristas there offer some great suggestions based on what you like (light to dark roasted), and will share what's popular if you're unsure about what you want. Seating is plenty but can get pretty crowded.

It's hard to describe how life changing and amazing this coffee was. Pour over coffee is king here, instead of ordering from a menu, you smell the beans and choose a flavor profile you like. Then, a careful pour over is done and the coffee tastes unlike any coffee I've had in my whole life. Some of the coffee was so floral or fruity that it tasted like tea instead of coffee, absolutely insane. A must visit. Friendly service and a cool ambience as well.

Glitch was recently voted one of the top rated coffee roasters in the world and you can tell why. They give so much care and attention to each customer and each cup of coffee. The coffee, of course, was delicious but the experience could also not be beat. Certainly recommend!
