Just had an awesome time at Tokyo Ale House in Ikebukuro! The vibe here is super chill and welcoming, and it’s really English-friendly, which made ordering and chatting with the staff really easy.

I tried a few of their sour beers, and wow—they were so good! Perfect balance of tart and refreshing, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. If you’re into craft beer, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Overall, it’s a great spot to hang out, whether you’re solo or with friends. Super relaxed, good drinks, and a cool atmosphere. If you're in the area, definitely stop by!

Love the Aleworks Taproom! We stayed nearby and ended up here almost every evening due to the delicious beer, snacks, and vibes! Highly recommend visiting if you are nearby! The pumpkin spice beer in particular has become one of my personal favorites, and I'm very sad I won't be able to drink this beer at home. Great atmosphere, fantastic tasty beer, and good vibes, you should check it out!

As a Pacific Northwesterner, this place felt like a small slice of home in Tokyo.  Beer is EXCELLENT! Like take your favorite micro brewery from Portland or Seattle,  and then add the Japanese excellence in product and service,  and you've got Tokyo Aleworks. Incredibly cozy. Incredibly beer driven pub you never imagined to encounter in Itabashi and its vicinity. Though I did not try all of the beer here, still the beers here are excellent and you will have unforgettable memory here in Tokyo Aleworks.

Pretty cool place for those tired of "regular" beer. Worth a visit at least once. Tried a half-pint of the "protein beer", which could use a higher alcohol count. The "Smashing Imperialism" was thick, coffee-ee and all-in-all a fine stout. The bar itself is cozy and clean. The staff is English-speaking so no worries for those lacking in Japanese.
