Beautiful park that is very well maintained.  Pine trees were amazing, great path around large pond.  Well worth 150 yen entry fee and nice stop after edo museum.

Though it's not a royal family-owned garden, but the details of Kiyosumi Garden are still decent.

Like particularly the trail around the pond, and all the stones collected from all over Japan, definitely a must-visit spot if you're around the Kiyosumi area

One of the nicest garden near the center of Tokyo.
Since this garden was owned by prestigious Samurai then noble family, it has history and you can enjoy traditional Japanese garden.

Since Kiyosumi area is popular for modern cafes nowadays, I suggest to explore the area along with visiting this garden.

Small but beautiful Japanese garden belongs to Edo period. I visited the place in fall and the leaves were turning colors and the place looks nothing but magical. Entrance is 150 JPY for an adult.
