The hotel was luxurious and the lobby and garden were gorgeous! We had a smooth check in and luggage drop off service, and for the location, we were able to walk from Shinagawa station which was a huge plus! The room had a balcony which overlooked the garden, but other than that the room was mediocre. It was not as luxurious as the rest of the hotel, but they did have comfy beds and lots of room. I do wish the bathroom was more traditional, but it was a tub and shower curtain. Overall, it was very clean and pleasant. I would say the breakfast buffet was delicious! It was about $30 per adult

I was really looking forward to trying this hotel after staying at Sakura Tower last year, and overall, it’s a great hotel. You can feel the quality. While it’s not quite on the same level as Sakura Tower, it still offers a very nice experience.

When I first arrived, the only thing I wasn’t too happy about was the check-in process. After a 15-hour flight, I arrived just an hour before the official check-in time. My room was ready, but the front desk informed me that if I wanted to check in early, there would be an additional charge. Considering the price of the hotel, I was a bit surprised by this policy.

That being said, everything else was great. The hotel has a premium feel, and the service was generally good. One minor downside for me personally was the fitness room. On the 1F floor, it only has two treadmills and two stationary bikes. In contrast, the gym at Prince Sakura is much bigger, which is something I personally value.

Overall, though, it’s a quality hotel. If you’re not too concerned about the gym facilities, you’ll likely have a great stay. I’d still recommend it!

We booked this hotel for the first 4 nights of our holiday in Japan. The first room we received was dirty, the carpet was disgusting, the bathroom was not clean and the upholstery on the bed was completely ripped apart. We only had an okay stay at this hotel, because we complained to the reception upon arrival in the room. They gave us an upgrade to a higher floor and a better room. Still, the bathroom in the new room was still smelly, it smelled like pee during our entire stay there. We were also grateful for slippers, otherwise we would not have stepped on that disgusting carpet! The advantage is the room size, which is very large for Japan, but I would not recommend this hotel or stay there again. Tokyo has much better to offer, certainly!

Good location, but horrendously average. Would give it a solid 3*, not sure how it pulled off a 4. It is one of the biggest hotels I’ve seen with many restaurants, stores - but the gym is tiny.. like the size of a bathroom with not a single bit of weight equipment, just 2 bikes and a treadmill.

The breakfast is not very good and they don’t even wash their grapes which is not nice.

Overall the decor is good and garden is nice.
