Came here with a reservation for dinner and had the chef's choice course. The restaurant has only eight counter seats in a L-shape overseeing the kitchen led by two chefs working on the wood-grill which is the centerpiece for cooking most of the dishes. All the dishes were very tasty and flavorsome, and also nicely plated. The signature steamed foie gras bun was soft and packed with flavor, firewood grilled sweet bread with chestnut puree and truffle was particularly outstanding, and the straw grilled Spanish mackerel and firewood grilled wagyu was cooked to perfection in both flavor and texture. The same quality can be seen in the dessert; starting off with a refreshing bergamot shaved iced, followed by a juicy poached pear paired with caramel ice cream and brûlée crisp, ending with some high quality mignardises. Staffs were polite and friendly; and the head chef have checked to see if I am enjoying the food a few times during the course and also saw me out after the meal even though it was raining which was a nice gesture and great service. It was pricey but worth the dining experience.

The most special dinner we’ve ever had. Absolutely sensational. The food was shockingly delicious with every bite, and a fun blend between French and Japanese. Atmosphere was outstanding, the fire stove was so cool to watch. The chefs finesse was like a show, the staff was phenomenal. We have strict dietary restrictions (pescatarian + no shellfish) and they accommodate beautifully , didn’t feel like we were missing out at all RECOMMEND !!!!!!!!!!!

The restaurant open in 2023 and crowned as michelin restaurant in 2024. The restaurant has nice setting on only 8 seaters. Therefore, you can interact directly with the chefs. The chef was very nice. The chef cook in front of you. Based on reviews, I chose the cheaper one and let me tell you that I was full. One more food, I did nit think that I can finish. The food overall were delicious and my favourite was the A5 wagyu beef and the steamed bun with foie gras. As non-alcoholic drinker, I opt with just water as I am not a fan of alcoholic drink and sweet drinks. I really recommend this place.

This restaurant is why Tokyo is such a Mecca for foodies - innovative, stylish food that combines the very pinnacle of ingredients with amazing cooking techniques. From start to finish (we had the Omakase set, which I recommend - portion size was perfect) this was an adventure of new tastes and textures that was exciting and perfectly executed. The wood fire techniques are interesting to watch and the wine pairings were non-traditional but worked well - always a good sign when a restaurant is willing to let their sommelier experiment. Very good and high end wine list (perhaps a bit on the pricey side for some of the wine but the wine pairing was excellent value). Also an extensive Macallen whiskey collection - up to $1,000 a shot!

What really sets this restaurant apart from the other great, Michelin starred restaurants in Tokyo is the service. Warm, friendly and engaging (in English, French and Japanese) the service here is probably the best in Tokyo that I have experienced.

Go here as soon as you can - with only 8 seats this will be one of those impossible to book restaurants when it gets its next Michelin star.
