10/10 best bar in Golden Gai especially if you’re into the metal or horror community. Super tiny spot with maybe 8 seats but could possibly fit 2 more standing. Drinks were all ¥666 which is super reasonable for the area. Decor is awesome and owner usually has a movie playing too. If you’re a metalhead this is for you.

Best bar I think I've ever been to in my life. Get to enjoy some drinks and listen to metal and watch horror movies.

For the price I'm only listing 1-1,000 yen cause all drinks are 666 yen. So the amount you spend really depends on how much you wanna drink.

This place is great fun. A metal / horror themed bar with a friendly barman. We went on a pub crawl in the Golden Gai and eventually settled here. Most of the pubs here have a cover charge, which is off-putting, but Deathmatch in Hell does not, and all drinks are 666 yen comically enough. Some cool merch to buy here also. It was quite the night here, getting drunk on Japanese spirits, talking to tourists & locals and of course the barman, with Texas Chainsaw Massacre playing on the screens to the sound of loud and fast paced metal music - surreal. The pub is small, so you might be unlucky not getting a table, but it is so worth checking out.
