Our first meal in Japan and still one of our favourites. We got one of each of the vegan ramens - one is creamy and garlic and miso. The other is a shoyu broth which was rich and flavourful and smoky. The gyoza were also great! Highly recommend. The food court it’s in is also pretty. Free cold water and iced tea.

This restaurant is the perfect place in Shinjuku to get ramen as a group with vegan and non-vegan members. The restaurant is located on the 8th floor of the Lumine Est mall. There is a pretty big menu that has a couple of vegan ramen options alongside non-vegan options. I ordered the vegan “special silk-smooth veggie tonkotsu miraton”. The broth was the best part - it was rich and had a lot of elements coming together to make it taste amazing! The disappointment was the fake meat on top. It got soggy so fast. The texture was awful and it had next to no flavor. So aside from the meat, I really enjoyed this plant-based ramen. I also got an order of the veggie gyoza which were delicious. Everyone in my party who ate the meat options enjoyed their ramen, but it didn’t blow them away. Please note that the vegan options are NOT available at every Ippudo location. This location has the most options (two ramen options, plus one seasonal cold noodle). Otherwise, according to their website, you can get one vegan ramen option at the following locations: Ginza East store, Harajuku Takeshita Street store, Shijo Karasuma store, and Kanazawa Korinbo store

Incredibly delicious Ramen to perfection. Flavoursome, Appetising,Tasty,Toothsome🔥🤩. I read a review saying ,this is where the locals go. Don’t go to Ichiran for the ramen, very mediocre and not even close. If you want the experience is cool, but Ippudo blows it out the water.

While exploring Takeshita Street, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon this ramen spot, and I'm genuinely pleased we did. We decided to share a bowl of ramen, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The restaurant offers an English menu and a convenient iPad ordering system, which made the process smooth and efficient. The restaurant was very clean and bright.

The broth was rich and savory, striking the perfect balance without being overpowering. The noodles were cooked to perfection—not soggy like many American ramen joints—and had a lovely, firm texture. Overall, it was a satisfying bowl of ramen. If you’re in the area and craving some quality broth, this place is definitely worth a visit.
