Enjoyed a tasting menu with paired wine menu, on level 48 of the Naza Tower at Dewakan - giving great views of the city.

We had ordered the vegetarian tasting menu which was really good - using lots of local ingredients, which the staff told you about at the start of each course.  The food was excellent - lots of skill on display.  One slight disappointment here, was that whilst we had ordered the vegetarian option - we were presented with the normal menu on the table outlining each course.  There was no vegetarian menu, so hard to keep track of what you were eating.

The wine pairing was good - really matched the food well, however the amount of wine per glass was rather small.

Whilst I've love to give the place 5/5 I can't - the prices were more expensive than a similar venue in London, the wine pairing glasses were small and the lack of little details such as a vegetarian menu on the table (considering the price paid) make this a 4/5 venue.

The service is outstanding, with staff who are both attentive and genuinely warm, making you feel truly cared for throughout the evening. Dewakan is not just a meal; it’s an experience that beautifully combines flavors, scenery, and impeccable hospitality. Highly recommended for a memorable night out!

Extraordinary dining experience. It's obvious why Dewakan has received its 2 Michelin Stars (plus a Green Star for Sustainability). Every detail of our meal was completed to perfection. I've been fortunate enough to dine at multiple Michelin rated restaurants, and Dewakan is a standout above the rest!

The food was 5 stars, great flavors and presentation, plus every ingredient is from Malaysia.

The service was world-class. We got a kitchen tour before the meal, and the team made sure our evening was unforgettable.

Oh, and the atmosphere... You are dining on high above the KL skyline with the best views in the city. Just unbelievable.

Don't think twice, book it.

Amazing experience! The food, the service, the scenery, all spectacular. Creative, but humble dishes which highlights the natural beauty of each ingredient. The luxury wine pairing was great, including some big Reds from Burgundy and Portugal. Personal and relaxed service, especially for a Michelin restaurant. We appreciated the welcome tour through the kitchen, great touch. Special recognition for the great desserts, the best and most creative we have ever had! Highly recommended

I recently dined at Dewakan to celebrate a birthday and while the experience was memorable, it left me with mixed feelings.

The restaurant’s concept of using local produce is truly commendable. Each dish highlighted unique Malaysian ingredients, and the creativity behind the menu was undeniable. The food was interesting, with bold flavors and artistic presentations that showcased their commitment to sustainability and local sourcing.

Located on a high floor, the restaurant also offers a stunning view of the KLCC skyline, adding an elegant touch to the dining experience. The ambiance was sophisticated, making it a good setting for a special occasion.

However, it’s worth noting that Dewakan does not do anything special for birthdays. For a two-star Michelin restaurant, this lack of personalization felt a bit underwhelming. Additionally, while the food and setting were impressive, it didn’t quite leave me with the desire to return.

That said, I think Dewakan is worth trying at least once to experience the hype surrounding its Michelin recognition. It’s a great opportunity to see what makes this restaurant stand out, even if it may not be a repeat destination for everyone.
