Although this place didn't have pigs blood in the noodles, the soup broth and chilli taste was superb. The wat chicken was also very tasty. The ice white coffee and ice black coffee were most refreshing and yummy. The parking management is good. Don't need to pander to halal certification. Should go back to basics and roots and at least have pigs blood as an option.

I came with high expectations since this is one of the three Michelin Bib Gourmand Penang White Curry Mee but was a bit disappointed. I won't say the bowl of noodles is not nice but just average .. nothing to shout about. The crowd was ok. Food was served fast. Also, I'm a bit disappointed not to have blood cubes for their curry mee.

Ordered white curry small for 7.50rm.

It was amazing. The coconut broth was distinct with mild spiciness. Adding their homemade paste caused it to transform into another dish. Amazing as well with another layer of unique sambal? Goodness.

Noodle was al dente and daopok goes super well soaking up all the broth. There are cookles and cuttle fish as well for good measurement.

So good i have to get their chili paste.

I visited Hot Bowl White Curry Noodles, and it wasn’t too crowded, maybe due to the rainy day. The white curry was nice, and the noodles were springy, not soggy. The squid and cockles were fresh and sweet, and adding the chili really brought out the flavors. I noticed some tourists were hesitant to add the chili, but it definitely makes the dish tastier. One thing that would have made it even better is if they had pig blood—it would have added a richer flavor. The only downside was the number of flies flying around as I sat outside, which was a bit annoying.

One of the best white curry noodle in Penang. Been coming here even before they had a Bib Gourmand.

Their white curry noodle was tasty, just the right amount of coconut in its soup, and right level of sweetness. It is a must to add in chilli to spice up the taste.

For its price of MYR7.50, it is pricey given that it lacked ingredients. It came with a few slices of cuttlefish, some taupok and miniscule (but fresh!) cockles. There were a lot of noodles.

Some may say that one can get a better bowl of white curry noodles in Penang, with more value. I don't disagree, but the one at Hot Bowl was still good.

It could have been made better if it came with pig blood. That's my personal preference.

The tables were dirty though, perhaps because they are usually busy popular. We sat outside and that tardiness attracted a lot of flies. Pesky, irritating, and I have expected better.
