Order small duck blood curry mee but actually is pig blood for 7.50 rm.

Broth was while but after whipping in the chili it became orange. Coconut provide the sweetness while sambal the spice. Noodle was cooked to al dente and all ingredients were elevated by the curry.

Pig blood was smooth with no funky smell. Taste wise not much but it soaked the broth. Taopok don't have to say goes well with amazing broth. Cockles add that exotic taste to a mouth full of curry and noodles.

It was a pleasant surprise that we saw this Duck Blood Curry Mee shop after stopping by Ghee Hiang. It’s located on the opposite side of the road and we decided to give it a try. We ordered a few bowls of Penang’s White Curry Mee that comes with blood jelly, half cooked clams (si ham), dried squid, prawns and ‘tofu pok’ (beancurd). The noodles tasted delicious, so flavourful and tasty! This shop also sells other food like Bak Kut Teh, Fish/ Pork/ Chicken Congee, Loh Bak, Chee Cheong Chok (Pork Intestine Congee), Steamed Chicken, Roast Pork, Braised Chicken Feet, Blanched Beansprouts and Braised Beancurd. We would like to try the Thai Style Preserved Egg on our next visit because it looks so yummy!

For a Michelin Guide restaurant, I expected much better service. While the Curry Mee was good, the service was disappointing. I ordered Chinese tea but was served milk, and the foreign worker insisted it was tea, which was frustrating. The restaurant was also quite dark, with no lights on, which affected the overall atmosphere. They really need to focus on staff training, especially with their foreign workers, to meet the Michelin standard

The curry mee was great. The broth was creamy and the sambal gave that needed kick. I ordered the super set which includes all the ingredients. Price is definitely on the higher side but worth giving it a go.

Got Michelin? ⭐️ Hands down, this is the Best Penang White Curry on the island! 🏝️ Didn’t know it was rated by Michelin so it was quite a pleasant treat to have 2 bowls of this amazing soup noodles in one sitting (so good one isn’t enough!). It’s RM7.50 per S size bowl and lovingly prepped to make you grin widely once you finish. Service was wonderful, they refilled the soup as my noodles were drying up because I wasn’t ready to eat yet. So thoughtful! Friendly owner and deserving winner of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
