Ordered small assam laksa for 7rm.

The assam was 70% sour, 25% spice and 5% sweetness. Definitely bold flavoring but i won't say it is universal. The noodle thought was very q so well done on that.

One thing I don't like about assam though is the sardine. Very mushy but it is what it is. Tasty definitely but maybe a bit not balanced.

Great food. Laksa is good, fried kuey teow is good, the chai kueh is good, parking is tricky depending on time.  The popiah is good. Didnt manage to try the curry mee though.. I really did wanted to try but stomach wanna explode. This place is CASH ONLY, so no touch and go or e walleting here. Go to the atm and get you so money. Also didnt try the chee chong fun. Oh also the laksa is on the michelin list 2024

I discovered this place from Michelin Food Guide. The Assam Laksa soup was good with just the right amount of sour, sweet and spice. PS. Ambra juice is a local fruit. YOU MUST TRY IT.

I discovered this place from Michelin Food Guide and walked away disappointed with the food. I ordered a bowl of Assam Laksa and fried popiah to pair with my food. The Assam Laksa soup was good with just the right amount of sour, sweet and spice but it lacks in terms of mackerel fish slices, pineapples and the usual toppings. The popiah? Well, you can skipped it as I can hardly taste any sengkuang in it. At RM1.50 a piece, it was a complete ripped off and the popiah was very small too.

PS: If you are dining in, do remember to order drinks else you will be slapped with 50 cents No Drinks charge in this kopitiam.

Overall, my experience was "meh" at best. I have tasted better Assam Laksa elsewhere

Tried their signature assam laksa, it really hit my taste buds. The sauce, the sourness, the spiciness, everything is just right.
Don't miss their spring rolls. The rolls are so delicious, that you can't stop eating them.
And for freshing up, I definitely will re-order their orange juice (RM 3,5).
Anything I order here is perfect for a lunch experience.
No wonder Michelin plates hang on their walls.
The lady owner also served us politely and kindly.
Highly recommended to visit again.
