Our culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary. We began with live oysters, each one fresh, briny, and kissed by the sea—a delightful burst of umami with every bite. The chargrilled squid followed, tender yet with a perfect smokiness, complemented by a subtle char that added depth to its flavor. The crispy unagi was a revelation, its golden, crackling exterior giving way to a rich, buttery interior—a harmonious balance of textures. The steamed clams were a symphony of natural sweetness and delicate seasoning, their broth a light yet flavourful accompaniment.

For the mains, the sirloin wagyu was a star dish—succulent, marbled to perfection, and cooked to a tender medium-rare that melted in the mouth. The rack of lamb was equally outstanding, with its crusted edges adding a fragrant crunch to the juicy, flavourful meat.

The evening’s indulgent feast was filled with laughter and cheers as we came together to celebrate our friends born in the joyous month of December. The restaurant exuded an effervescent energy, its festive ambiance wrapping around us like a warm embrace, while our camaraderie deepened with every shared moment.

The perfect blend of exceptional food, a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and lively conversation made for an unforgettable experience.

I recently discovered one of the best Western fine dining restaurants in Penang. The restaurant is elegantly simple in its décor and is located within a hotel. Although there are no private rooms, a secluded corner of the restaurant is well-suited for small group private dining.

We started with the signature fried unagi, which was perfectly cooked and an excellent way to begin our meal. The char-grilled squid was another delicious dish, especially when paired with a glass of red wine. The kataifi prawns with special dipping sauce were a delightful match, allowing us to savor every bite.

The wild mushroom soup with seared foie gras, accompanied by a small croissant, was a perfect combination. For my main course, I chose the New Zealand rack of lamb with sautéed spinach, and it did not disappoint. The lamb was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, and it paired wonderfully with our special wine from New Mexico. It was so delicious that I couldn’t stop raving about it.

We ended our meal with a pear strudel served with salted caramel ice cream, the perfect way to conclude an excellent dining experience. The service was attentive, and I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a fine Western meal in Penang.

A fine dining restaurant located inside a hotel. The food is extremely delicious. Too bad they don't have oyster when I visited for dinner.

The food here was superb! We loved every dish except for the panna cotta — was pretty dry and could’ve done with more sauce.

Agree with another review that the pictures don’t do the flavors justice.

Great value and taste in our opinion.

The head waiter though, can come across as pretty snobby. While his service and recommendations were generally great, he could reword some of his suggestions so they come across better.

In total we spent about 400 ringgit per person including two glasses of house reds.
