You will be greeted everyday by the breathtaking view of Balamban Mountains from your balcony. Scenic even in their bathroom. Rooms are spacious. Be prepared to go up and down from and to your accommodation since this is located in the mountains. They serve western and Filipino food for solo or for sharing.

The hotel is beautifully located with a lovely view and nice rooms, but that's about it.
The hotel is not worth the price, as the service and information about the hotel and activities are non-existent. The staff's service is below all criticism, and the staff in the restaurant as well as the food are really bad.
This also applies to breakfast. So it was the first and last time we visited here, unfortunately.
There are many more hotels that offer more value for money.

The location of West 35 is undeniably beautiful.  You get panoramic views of Busay.  Really, though, this is where the accolades end for this overrated resort.

There are many things to be critical of - many of which are discussed in other 1- and 2-star reviews included here.  I am not a fan of being charged 55 pesos per head to enter the resort when we're planning on eating there and spending money.  Same goes for Wi-Fi.  Why should we have to spend 10 pesos per hour on Wi-Fi when most other establishments in Cebu give Wi-Fi access for free when you're staying or eating at the hotel or resort.  But, by far, the worst part of our experience was the terrible restaurant.  Again, great view - but the service and food was awful.  Can we start with the facts that they literally did not have any dried fish, chicken, or beef.  How is that even possible in the Philippines where ever public market has loads and loads and loads of this stuff!  Pathetic.  The waitress was slow and unresponsive.  I had to ask twice about the status of getting water and my Red Horse.  It took her - no joke - 20 minutes to bring that basic stuff.  The food took nearly 40 minutes and there was almost nobody else there.  The food was lacking flavor and she never even checked on us to see how we liked the food or how things were going.

Really awful experience.  Do yourself a favor.  When in Busay, stop at Serenity Resort (much better ambiance and restaurant experience).  Better yet, go to Marco Polo for a 4-star hotel experience - awesome dining - and a luxurious feeling.

You have to bring cash when going here coz they cant accept card. No good reception here, so in order to connect to their wifi you have to pay ₱10/hr. Keep in mind, you have to pay ₱55/head at their entrance gate.

Their service is not that very nice. Food is not very palatable. And very poor presentation for its price.

This is our first time visiting and traveling to Cebu. My wife and I traveled here to get away from our busy life in California, USA. Upon arrival at this place, we fell in love with how the resort is being built on one of the peak locations of Balamban, Cebu. The weather is cooler than in the city; I thought I was in Baguio due to the formation of clouds and fog. The resort is surrounded by trees and flowers, and you can hear the chirping of birds.
