Txanton is a beautifully designed restaurant that perfectly blends a Spanish modern rustic vibe with shelves of wines and premium cold cuts that immediately catch your eye. The space feels elegant but still warm and inviting—great for a special night out.

We got a private room and tried a mix of dishes: Iberico Hams, Roasted Octopus, Bread with Tomato Puree and 3 Kinds of Salt, a Big Steak, Gambas, Salad, Paella, and Suckling Lamb. Honestly, everything was delicious and presented so well. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and nothing missed the mark.

The service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely made us feel welcome, which added a lot to the overall experience.

If you’re craving amazing Spanish food in a beautiful setting, Txanton is definitely worth checking out!

This was hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Everything—from the food to the service to the ambience—was spot on.

We got to try their jamón tasting with wine pairing, and even though we didn’t know much about Ibérico jamón and not an avid wine enthusiasts, it was such an interesting and enjoyable experience.

The star of the night is definitely the Ibérico Pork Pluma, which is made from 100% Ibérico Bellota. It was surprisingly so tender, juicy, and buttery — almost steak-like and exactly how we wanted our meat.

We also got to try their pulpo, cheese salad (we almost had to order another serving of this that’s how good it was), and the grilled tuna.

Then to cap it all off, we had their apple pie which was the perfect finish for an unforgettable meal.

Seriously, everything about this place is worth recommending.

I love going to Txanton because it is one of the few Spanish restaurants that maintains the authenticity of its cuisine.

Their menu is extensive, always offering something new to try. I particularly love their new room, where they showcase the meats and cheeses—it’s a wonderful addition. The other side of the restaurant, where they store the wine, can be too cold due to the need to preserve it properly.

Here’s what we ordered:
•	Salmorejo: A refreshing and delicious dish. I would have loved a bit more jamón and some boiled egg as toppings, but it’s still a solid 5/5.
•	Carpaccio de Presa Ibérica: A beautifully balanced, healthy, and refreshing dish. Highly recommended.
•	Pulpo a la plancha: Served with a smooth purée and the full legs of the octopus. The portion size is very generous.
•	Tortilla de patatas: Almost perfect. It could have used just a touch more salt, but otherwise, it was fantastic. A recommended dish.
•	Costillas de cerdo Ibérico (Iberian Pork Ribs): Outstanding. The portion size is generous, the plating is beautifully done, and the flavor is excellent. The ribs are cooked to order, and the meat is incredibly tender. Highly recommended.

Overall, the experience was excellent. Txanton continues to impress with its commitment to authenticity and quality.

The restaurant doesn’t seat too many. Just a wine bar area with several tables. And a few high tables near the kitchen and the private room. The wine selection here is probably the best you’ll fine with a huge glass cabinet of zalto glasses. I had the pleasure of chuletón paired with red wine salt. This special piece of meat is from vacas viejas from the Galician region in Spain. Eating older cows is not only more sustainable but the flavors are definitely more amplified. The tougher meat is dry aged for about 30-40 days to tenderize the meat and improve the flavor. Txanton also has a wide selection of jamón and allows for a tasting platter. Overall highly recommend this as the best Spanish spot for food accompanied by a great wine list.

Txanton was definitely one of the best I've visited in Manila. First, the opportunity to try Iberico jamonado was exceptional. They also offer a delightful cheese tasting menu.

Each ham and cheese we sampled was unique, making it a fascinating tasting experience. The garlic soup struck a perfect balance of saltiness and flavor, and the chorizo picante stood out with its excellent smoky aroma.

The prices are reasonable for the quality offered. Our soup and dessert were just under 300 PHP each, more affordable than many hotel dining options or other upscale venues.

The service was impeccable. Despite not having reservations (as it wasn't busy that night), we were warmly welcomed. Yna, our server, was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the food. She even gave us a mini tour of the restaurant and enthusiastically explained the tasting menu, patiently answering all our questions. She even gave us a handwritten list of the cheese's name because we asked! Her passion truly enhanced our dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend this place! You'll get   immersion to history, interesting stories, reasonable pricing, good service, and unique flavors.
