I have been eating this chicken rice stall for more than 20 years. I visit at least once every 2 weeks or every month. The rice is very fragrance, and chicken is tender. However, each chicken size is rather small. Chilli and the black source is good. Picture showing a 3 person-shared chicken breast portion. So, not really a lot.

This has been my favourite chicken rice for well over a decade. Rice is nice, chicken tender and juicy, chilli spicy enough and tasty, even the soup is good. And the price for this quality is insane.

I first had this 16 years ago and it is still one of if not the best chicken rice in Singapore. Price crazily affordable even in 2020. Go try. No regrets.

Now they are under Michelin Guide apparently! Congratulations and couldn’t be happier for uncle.

I had the Chicken Rice with Drum Stick for lunch and it did not disappoint! The chicken was tender and juicy, while the rice was fragrant and well-seasoned. The 20-minute wait didn’t feel so bad once I took my first bite—totally worth it! Loved the flavorful chili sauce and ginger paste on the side. It’s no wonder this stall is featured in the Michelin Guide for 2023 and 2024. Plus, they accept mobile payments, which is super convenient. Definitely a must-visit if you’re at Alexandra Village Food Centre!

Chicken is tender. Half chicken cost $12 with soup and achar. Chicken rice is only $0.50 each.  Sold out by 1.18pm on a sat.

One of the better chicken rice i say.

Gave the service 3 stars, as the utensils are oily. Maybe someone accidentally spilled some chili here and there. I hope it’s just a one time off situation.
