Ordered a winter melon soup with steamed pork ribs. Both are good. Double boiled soup is full of flavour and meat just right. Steamed pork ribs were done with black beans and not too salty. Overall it’s good value for soup and meat dishes.

15 Oct 24: Was here for dinner at around 6.30pm but most of the soups were already sold out. Left with the two chicken soups (one with cordiceps flower and the other with brazil mushroom). Had the chicken soup with cordiceps ($5.50) and pumpkin with mince meat ($4) which were not too bad. Will come back and try during lunch time.

My husband and I came at around 7pm and there was only a few people ahead of us.
The spareribs soup with lotus root had been sold out, so we choose spareribs soup with mushrooms and chicken soup with flowers.

The amount of soup is very generous and the size of rice is also good.
The sparerib soup is a little sweet and refreshing; the chicken soup with flower is stronger compared to sparerib soup, we suspect that it has made with herbal or wine.

Overall, the soup is warm and healthy.
Worth a try.

Dropped by on a weekday at 8pm and half of the soups on the menu were sold out, so come early in order not to be disappointed! I ordered the chicken soup with cordyceps flower, the steamed pumpkin over minced pork and a bowl of fluffy white rice. Total cost: $10

Everything was super delicious and felt home cooked. Soup was clean and clear without any fats or scum floating around. Cordycep flowers are like enoki mushrooms (but thicker and orange), not much flavour by itself but has great texture. Not sure how common it is, but had a chicken drumstick in my soup, meat was still tender and came off the bone easily..

Pumpkin with steamed minced pork is not a common dish, but this shop makes it well, with mostly lean pork and not much fat in the meat, which suits my palate and feels like a healthy homemade meal overall.

Really a great soup place that is tasty and perfect for rainy days!
