Intermezzo bar is a nice place to relax and have few drinks. This bar is part of the Orchard hotel and located on the ground floor. Residents of the hotel can add the invoice to their room.
The bar is having live music and songs can be requested. The menu for food is not that vast. They also limit the menu after 10pm and only few snacks are available.
They do have display of sports on their screens. Overall a nice place to hang around with friends or family.

As for the nachos, they were decent but didn't leave a lasting impression. If you're looking to prioritize your selections, you could consider skipping them without missing out on a standout dish.

On the other hand, the pizza didn't quite live up to our expectations. It lacked the distinctive flavors and quality that we anticipated. Consequently, it might be advisable to explore other menu options rather than investing in the pizza.

We also enjoyed some diy moments at their diy station for Kueh Pie Tee and Rojak. We especially enjoyed their assorted dimsum, chicken curry with Roti Jala and Assorted Nonya Kueh.

Perfect spot for weekend high tea buffet with your loved ones, especially for visitors who are looking to enjoy local flavours at one go in the well-decorated and classy ambience of the bar.

To sweeten the deal, they are having a promo for this high tea buffet at $55++ (U.P. $83++) and comes with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Available only on weekends for limited time till 31 May 2024 only. So worth it.

Bar Intermezzo, Orchard Hotel: Disappointment hung like a dark cloud throughout our entire experience here. The hotel seems faded, like it is in dire need of a facelift, especially in the face of newer more modern hotels. Bar Intermezzo seems like a bar from the 1980s. We waited for a while before we were shown to a seat by the Manager. None of the other staff bothered. I felt sorry for her as she tried her best but the whole hotel sets her up for failure. It’s OK to have a curated sized buffet with a few items done with panache. But the sweets were so badly done. Only the pralines were decent. The high tea stand was pretty to look at but the taste was average at best. The scones were so dry and hard, Popeyes Chicken has better ones. The cheap basket which the scones were served in, was broken. I had an extra glass of Prosecco from the Manager which was a nice gesture. I think most of the cafes out there serve really good bakes and this has been a total letdown. Do yourself a favour. Head to a much better high tea for your afternoon tete-a-tete. #eatstylishtravelstylish
