The museum is thoughtfully put together and intriguing despite having no admission fee. It was insightful reading about Singapore’s history and transformation, especially since I moved away in 2008. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by. The intricate model of Singapore’s central area is impressive.

There are toilet facilities, although tucked away in a far corner on the second storey.

Beautifully designed, well maintained, clean, open and very informative. The gigantic miniature city model said it all about Singapore.
Located inside Chinatown, next to the Maxwell Food Centre.
This is a great place to stop by to catch a break and to learn more about Singapore.
Highly recommend!

Excellent experience! Highly recommended for locals and tourists alike. It’s well worth the time. I can’t say it’s worth the money because it’s totally free! No admission fees and no tour guide fees either as the tours are conducted by volunteers. Proud of Singapore.🇸🇬 👍😊

Visited with family during the year-end school holidays. Not crowded, a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed learning about Singapore’s the development and its future plans.

The building models were impressive and we could admire them from a very close distance. Will need to hold young children to prevent them from falling onto the models.

We also had fun comparing Singapore’s land area and population to other cities on an interactive screen.

Overall, highly recommended for locals and tourists.

Excellent museum detailing the thought that has gone into every development detail for the city since 1971. It’s inspiring to see the empathy and mindfulness forward-thinking city planners have the citizens of Singapore. Granted, with an astronomical GDP, I’m sure they have the luxury of having plenty of resources that most cities don’t have to make planning for the future slightly less painful. Highly recommend!
