Short review to say thank you for a wonderful experience!  Recently had lunch at Sommer before they permanently close.

Some of this meal’s dishes were certainly memorable, including a Hokkaido scallop “pot pie” and a pigeon dish that included the bird’s final finger expression as to being eaten.

Had my birthday celebration at Sommer last year, it was truly one of the best fine dining experiences I had so far. From the starts to the main course, to the desserts, everything was perfect! Staff were really friendly as well.

So sad to hear the closure of this amazing place! Will definitely missed it.

Visited Sommer yesterday and truly deserving of 1 Michelin Star!

Food was delicious with unique touches and blends of so many elements from tastes to textures. Thank you Chef Lewis Barker and the kitchen team!

Service on the other hand was impeccable, with good interactions, checking on food, wine pairings and not being intrusive. Atmosphere was intimate and cosy. Special thanks to Rebecca for her warmth and hospitality, having showcase service with a smile. A gem and rare trait to have in the industry. Food pacing was good, timing all tables present together.

Kitchen and service team made the dining experience what I call a harmonious melody in a theatre. Well done!

We were able to dine at Sommer before their announced closing due in October. It is a lost for this restaurant houses a team of hospitable, attentive and dedicated staff.
As for the food. Every mouthful was a delightful tickle to the tastebud. Its beyond gourmet pleasure as each and every dish was way above satisfaction.
Worth every dollar spent.

Visited in Aug 2024 for dinner.

A visit to Sommer got hastened due to its impending closure by mid Oct 2024

For dinner you have 2 menu options - 5 course and 7 course. Both menus also come with a bread starting course and petit fours which are in addition to the 5 or 7 courses. All the courses were really good. I especially liked the pigeon main course and the scallop (which was almost in form of a scallop Wellington) courses.

The restaurant staff were very friendly and kind. Top notch service.

All in all, Sommer was a very good dining experience and its closure is a loss to the SG fine dining scene. Would highly recommend people to visit for the last few days this restaurant is still open.
