The Whisper Room is not just a bar; it’s a culinary journey. The menu features an array of exquisite dishes, but two standouts are the Angus Beef Croquettes and the Jalapeño Mashed Potatoes. The croquettes are perfectly crispy on the outside, revealing a tender, flavorful filling that pairs beautifully with the house-made dipping sauce. Meanwhile, the jalapeño mashed potatoes offer a delightful kick, elevating a classic comfort food to new heights. For those looking to sip on something special, the cocktail menu is equally impressive, boasting a selection of creative concoctions that tantalize the palate.

One of the most captivating aspects of The Whisper Room is its live music. The venue regularly hosts talented jazz musicians, creating an inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. This bar offered a surprisingly upscale experience, perfect for a quick after-work drink with clients. Stepping off the elevator, you're immediately immersed in an atmosphere of luxury and style. The happy hour prices were quite reasonable, with a good selection of drinks, and the hand-cut fries were particularly delicious.

Fantastic atmosphere and really delicious food, making it a great spot for dining. However, the service during afternoon tea was unexpectedly poor. The dinner crew was significantly better, but the afternoon tea staff left much to be desired.

From the start, the service was cold and unaccommodating. I requested a little extra time for our reservation from the beginning and was met with an abrupt and rude "No," despite mentioning that I was willing to order more food and drinks. Later, the staff suggested I check online myself to see if there was availability in the Whisper Room, which felt odd since I was already at the restaurant, and they could have easily checked for me. Eventually, I did get an extension, but the initial response was quite jarring for a high-end establishment.

The restaurant’s website states, “If you’d like to extend your evening with us, feel free to speak with our team and we will try our best to arrange accordingly.” This led me to expect a more accommodating approach rather than an outright rejection.

Dietary restrictions were not handled well. We mentioned we don’t eat goat cheese, and instead of offering a substitute, they simply told us to avoid that item on the tray. That level of service feels dismissive, especially in a place of this caliber.

Worth noting - the afternoon tea set does not include tea or coffee, which is quite unusual, and is not served on weekends.

That said, by 4 PM, the service improved significantly as the dinner crew took over. A Thai waiter was particularly warm and attentive, which completely changed the experience. Because of this, I’d consider coming back for dinner but would avoid the afternoon tea.

Overall, the food and ambiance are excellent, but if you’re considering afternoon tea, be prepared for subpar service and an experience that may not match your expectations. If management improves service training, this could be an exceptional spot all around.

love the look, feel, and ambience of the whisper room! the jazz performance was wonderful, and the lounge house music by the DJ really set the tone and mood for the later part of the evening.

excellent cocktails, every drink was so good! the bar bites was delicious too, we had the angus beef croquettes and the jalapeño mashed potatoes. service is top notch and the staff were friendly and attentive. will definitely be back again soon to try the other food items and cocktails, and I cannot recommend this bar enough!

The view, ambience and live jazz performance was fantastic. The service was good and the staff were attentive to us (thank you Alexa and Desmond!). Tried a few bar bites and all food were really good, especially the bread & butter - I would go back for this.

However, the drinks were not the best. Given the variety of cocktails available on the menu, you would expect the drinks to be decent. It is a shame the cocktails are subpar for a such a wonderful setting.

Food, service, atmosphere, music was 10/10
Special thanks to Alexa and Desmond for taking care of us, really enjoyed my time at The Whisper Room. If you like jazz music and chill vibes, this is the place to check out!
Theres still room for improvements on the cocktails but apart from that, food was amazing as well.
