Celebrated my friend’s birthday at Le Bon Funk’s Club St, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The evening was exceptional, from the welcoming ambiance to the attentive service. The staff truly go the extra mile to make you feel special, and Ernest, was no exception. His attentiveness for the birthday surprise with the recommendation of pistachio cookie dessert was a highlight—delicately balanced, with a perfect blend of flavors and textures that melted in the mouth. Visited Le Bon Funk to celebrate birthday. We started with the Foie Gras toast, which is one of their signature dishes. Aesthetically, it looked like toast with pork floss because of the way the foie gras was "grated" onto the toast. Foie gras was well balanced between creamy and salty.

Next up was the stuffed zucchini flower. The vinegarette pair with whatever sauce in the flower was the mvp of the dish.

The beef tongue sandwich was alright because of the slightly gamey smell/taste to it. Pretty tasty nonetheless. Could do better with a bit more sauce tough.

Finally, for mains, we had the pan grilled monkfish that was recommended by the staff. The texture of the monkfish was good - fleshy, bouncy, and chewy (similar texture to scallops, which i personally like).

Couldn't give half stars, so I settled for 4. Tbh, I think it's a 3.5 for me.

I really enjoyed the food. It was my first time there with my friends so naturally we got the recommended must-try dishes and they did not disappoint!

We noticed how the portions tend to be split into 2 but the staff kindly helped us to split into 3 portions :-)
