This is not really a place for commoners. The taste is indeed exquisite and more on the sweet side during my visit.

I do not feel full, nor do I feel hungry. I just do not feel that it is a satisfying meal and something I will come back to again.

If you get uncomfortable sore throat from excessive sugary stuffs, I'll strongly advise against eating the sauces /dessert.

One plus point is that they cater on the spot to suit vegetarian needs. Though you will be having a lengthy discussion on what you would like to have (eggs or no, etc).

Like to point out. There are two types of plain water. The one from Tokyo costs $10 per bottle and PLEASE do keep track of how many bottles are served. We were overcharged 1 bottle but we let it slide.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, and the service is good. I gave the food 4 stars because I wasn't particularly impressed. While the fish is fresh— which is the most important aspect—there were a few dishes that I didn’t understand. For example, the salmon sashimi with Parmesan cheese was quite unusual.

Nice place to get refined Japanese food. I especially love the soft shell crab roll and the udon noodles were so comforting. Always leave some room for dessert because the soft serve was simply the best. The unagi roll was so good that we ordered a second portion. Other mains were well executed and the staff was attentive to refill our tea cups.

Located at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It is a modern Japanese restaurant with superb staff and refined Japanese fusion menu. Highly recommend the fixed menu lunch, Happy hour menu, exquisite and innovative cocktails and dinner. We love the restaurant so much that we were there 3 times!
