Amazing Experience at NOX - Dine in the Dark!

It was our very first experience dining at Nox - Dine in the Dark. Dining in complete darkness was unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, Hafiz made us feel welcome and prepared us for the unique journey ahead. We had our cocktails Coco-Not &  Big Boy’s Latte, and also 1st appetiser that we can see.

We were lead by Peter, visually impaired hosts, he was incredibly friendly and guided us through the experience with ease. The food was delicious and full of surprises—each dish had unique flavors and textures that kept us guessing. Truly a sensory adventure worth trying!

Good once in a lifetime experience, however, the waiting time in the restaurant itself is quite daunting…
Roughly 2 to 2.5 hours for the whole experience which you can’t really do anything aside from waiting in the dark.
Also I’m unsure how to ask to exit the restaurant once we are done with our meal as there’s is no light at all… (quite passive can just wait)

Would appreciate if there is some jazz background music or some sparkle in the food (just a bit but not sure it might off concept)

My wife booked a dinner slot for my birthday over  at NOX and it was a wonderful experience. Everything from food to service to overall experience was superb. Peter and Halimi were attentive to each and every guest. As the staff are visually-impaired, they took the initiative to speak to every table and remembered each of us by name. Besides that and making the experience a whole lot better, knowing that I was celebrating my birthday, they even got the other guests to sing a birthday song, all in the dark. It definitely allowed me to have a better appreciation for all the visually-impaired out there and the challenges they face in the world of darkness. Don’t worry or be afraid of your first time dining in the dark. The staff will orientate you from the point you’re seated to how you should tackle the food on the table. Overall a great experience and would highly-recommend it to everyone to give it a try! Thank you, NOX!

Very good service by Rendi who served us! He took great care of us and was very encouraging! Want to thank Aaron for working hard in the backend as well for making this experience possible! Very wonderful and one of a kind experience! Just that the price is abit pricey😅

I appreciate the cause at this restaurant. However, at the end of the day, the restaurant should be about the food.

First, the food is nothing to talk about. It’s one thing that you can’t see it, but it’s a totally different thing altogether to have a below average food being served at this price point in the name of an “experience”.

Not only the food is below average in the taste and quality, it’s just not enough. We were still hungry after this debacle of an experience and we had to go to another nearby restaurant to fill our cravings.

There is a hygiene issue as well. Upstairs in the dark everything smells funny. It doesn’t feel like that it’s being cleaned enough. The servers touch our spoons and forks.

Please stay away from this restaurant. There are many other restaurants in the neighborhood that you can enjoy. This is just a show and no substance.

We were hugely disappointed with this quality and quantity of food.

There was just nothing that stood out and we wanted to leave as soon as we could.

Utter disappointment!
