Love the vibe of the hotel. It's a good nature respite in the heart of urban Singapore. Check-in was super smooth. Very friendly staff. The room is super clean. Would come and stay again!

I have booked Lloyd’s multiple times prior as I used to enjoy my stays here. However, I was thoroughly disappointed by my experience this time. I booked a staycation for my husband’s birthday and paid $250 for the business room as there were no other rooms available. We expected that paying for a larger, better room would give us a better experience and service.

However, to our horror, the rooms next to ours were all undergoing renovations while we were there. As such, our room had a very strong stench of paint smell throughout, causing us a headache. What made matters worse was when they started renovations in the adjacent rooms during the day and the following morning. At 9/10am, there were contractors walking outside and talking loudly, banging and drilling that caused us to wake from our sleep. This went on for at least an hour.

It was rather disappointing and distasteful for Lloyd’s Inn to not be upfront about the renovations / didn’t just shut the rooms affected down temporarily. Should I have known that our stay would be affected by the renovations, I wouldn’t have booked the stay in the first place. It was supposed to be a relaxing experience but this stay sadly left us more tired than before we came in. I was just glad that I only booked for 1 night instead of 2 (we were thinking of booking for 2 nights due to the long weekend).

Staying at Lloyd’s Inn was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a quiet corner yet just minutes from the Orchard Road. The minimalist design creates a sense of calm the moment you step in, with nature all around you.

The rooms are modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of natural light and comfortable amenities. The peaceful rooftop garden and plunge pool were perfect spots to relax after a day of exploring.

The staff were sweet, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect.

If you’re looking for a home away from home in the heart of Singapore, Lloyd’s Inn is an amazing choice. I can’t wait to return!
