My favorite hotel in Singapore. Great location  and friendly and service minded staff. The best gym I’ve ever visited in a Hotel. Free weights, treadmills, elliptical machines, +++ wardrobe, lockers, showers and jacuzzi. Service staff very polite and friendly. Sanitizing the equipment after you’ve completed. (Not sure their working hours) Gym open between 06:00 and 22:00.
Great pool area for both children and adults with outdoor showers. Serving at the pool and foot massage offered. I stayed at the tower in a king size bedroom. Well maintained and both shower and bathtub. Definitely recommended hotel

An exceptional 5* hotel and I have some angst regarding whether it is a 4* or a 5* review  ...so I will give the benefit of the doubt.

Dining options are great.  Garden Wing rooms are spacious and elegant.  Gym is best in class. Period.

Niggles? The pool area whilst attractive struggles to keep up even in quieter season.  If you stay at Christmas I would expect a lot of contention.  I realise I should carry physical credit cards at all time, however in Europe this is not the norm - you need one in order to load a deposit onto your room for incidentals.  No "wash toilet" in bedroom - I would have thought that is standard equipment in most houses.... let alone in a 5* luxury Asian hotel.

Very comfortable stay and enjoyed.  As ever staff are a delight

Staying at Shangri-La is always a pleasure. The staff consistently upholds the highest standards of hospitality, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience. The amenities are great, offering everything needed for a truly relaxing stay. What I appreciate most is the way personal space is respected—there’s a perfect balance of attentiveness and privacy, making every visit feel exclusive and comfortable. Whether for business or leisure, Shangri-La never disappoints!

The hotel lobby is spacious and very welcoming. Check-in was a brisk.

Hotel front desk and lobby staff were very polite, helpful and answered questions with a smile.

The room was fantastic and I love the study table right in front of the full length windows.

The glass wardrobe looks chic and there was a dressing/make up stand/table.

Coffee machine and water (paper container and not plastic) were provided. There were cutlery and other accessories.

The bed and pillows were a tad too soft for my liking. Requested for foam pillows during reservation but did not get it.

Water pressure of shower head could have been stronger.

Check-out was disappointing as 2 hours extension was rejected flatly though it was expected.

Overall a good 2 night at Shang and I would still recommend staying at this property.

Just be aware of the location not being very friendly as it is isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. But some will love it.

Francis at reception to the bell men who were all so friendly and helpful.  One of, if not the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in.  Close to MRT and buses yet so secluded and peaceful when back at the hotel.  Loved it so much that we certainly will return.
