Excellent restaurant for 5 star Korean BBQ. The quality of the meat and the food are excellent. The service is immaculate. You get a private room. The only down side there was a cricket or cockroach in the room. They just need to do some pest control. It is very unfortunate. I will definitely come back for your food and service. The lady who served me as very friendly and accomodating. The premium rib and ox tounge are very good

Excellent dinner tonight at Byeokje. 1.4KG of fantastic Hanwoo beef in different cuts. Only  private dining rooms are available in the Cheongdam location. Service is excellent and staff communicates very well in English and is able to explain everything very clearly. Highly recommend to visit if you love Korean BBQ and a beef lover.

I came here to try Korean Hanwoo beef for the first time, and it was an incredible, immersive dining experience. We had a dedicated server who was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and the history behind every dish. The head chef expertly cut the Hanwoo beef in front of us, showcasing impressive knife skills.

The Hanwoo beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, with a rich taste that stood out. Its texture was perfectly soft yet firm, melting in your mouth with every bite. Compared to Wagyu, Hanwoo is less fatty, offering a balanced flavor that highlights the natural beefiness without being too rich. The subtle marbling made the meat juicy and delicious, with a clean, pure taste that was really satisfying.

This was a great way to experience Hanwoo beef for the first time, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you’re looking to try something new and delicious, I highly recommend giving it a shot!

Monday has no Byeokje Tasting Course, thus had the a-la-carte.  Seated in a private room with their beautiful handmade Munaze ceramics laid out. We ordered their Signature Cuts of Hanwoo Seolhwa Hanwoo Bone Rib aka Kkotppyeo Saeng-Galbi. An artisan butcher came in with the bone rib and deftly carving out the 1++ meat, followed by a demonstration of the diamond-cutting technique. Next, a grill master proceeded to cook the meat over charcoal fire.
Exceptional meat indeed, good balance of fat, flavour and bite too.
Their Jeju seafood platter lacked lustre. Doenjang hanwoo stew and naengmyeon were decent.
Service was cordial and brisk. Ambience was alright, just a bit stuffy when the door was closed.
Still the best dining among the Byeokje branches.
