Torien Yakitori is, without a doubt, the best Yakitori restaurant in Taichung. Even as someone who isn't a big fan of chicken, I was amazed by how delicious they made it taste. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall fantastic experience.

All dishes are cooked to perfection right in front of you in an open kitchen, which adds a delightful touch to the dining experience. While they do accept walk-ins, I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a spot.

It seems to be two seating and gotten the 8:30pm round. The restaurant will keep people waiting outside and usher name by name. There are people still dinning and finishing.

We gotten the set menu price around NT1700. You can add more food at the start or midway. If you have food restrictions, they can switch the skewers.

Food is nice but not outstanding. Worth a visit due to the price but probably more to explore. They do have Chouchin, the immature egg York with ovaries tube. Unfortunately, didn’t get to try.

The option of rice and noodle, I prefer the noodle. The Kawa Skin is the very crispy type, I suggest to order.

Overall dinning is about 2 hours without drinks.

Great yakitori place. Service is good and all the pieces are seasons great. Only thing is that the counter infront of the grill gets really hot and uncomfortable especially in the summer heat.
